I don't think there's a non-homebrew core bonus that lets you extend your sensors? You might be thinking of the one that increases your weapon range? If you want better sensors you'd have to either have a goblin use its core power on you or use the metahook system.
Edit: Goblin symbiosis doesn't even give you the goblin's sensors, so it's only the metahook unless I'm forgetting something.
Minor pronunciation note: paracausal is pronounced 'para-CAW-sal', rather than 'para-CAZ-you-al'

Love your content, but you're wrong about the application of the Tachyon shield (Timestamp 9:00). You said you can choose to wait and see if the target is missed by an attack and then declare you're going to reflect the attack, you can't do that. The trigger for the reaction is when the target is attacked, not when the attack is resolved, it's a sequence issue. The sequence goes, attack is declared, you react or you don't, the attack is resolved, if you reacted your reaction resolved, if you didn't react then you can't influence the resolution of the action. You have to commit to Defensive Pulse or not, you can't just pick and choose to activate after the hit or miss is confirmed. Now if the power was worded differently, you could do this, but the power would have to be worded somthing like.
Trigger: Your target is hit or missed by an enemy attack.
or
Trigger: Your target is attacked, but damage has not yet been rolled.
Sorry to be a pedant, but issues like this come up at the table all the time, and it really doesn't help if players can point to a video online and say "big youtuber here says it works like this" when said youtuber is just wrong. Ruling against a player is hard enough, but it's doubly a problem when they pull an Argument From Authority on you. Please double check your work.
also whenever you complain about frames not getting heavy mounts it feels a little silly damage is balanced around if a frame gets a heavy mount or not. And big sal is gonna spend most of its turns DEFENDING and activating DEFENSIVE SYSTEMS. if you wanna deal damage pick frames that do that (majority of frames) sal's whole niche is its really good at reducing damage that enemies deal to your allies. THAT ITS WHOLE JOB
This guy really goes "big sal plops down and protects it's allies and I love it for that. Man I wish I had more firepower so I can be a dps" those are separate roles I think every video he complains about a mechs mounts
It's kind of lame that taccyon shield isn't a reaction ability because if they know your ally has it they just will hit someone else. :\

I wondered if taking Sal systems into my Gorgon build was a good idea though I suppose it could interfer with Battlefield Awareness. Also now I have to make a meme about Ushabti and Paracausal mod, damnit

Are you sure that tachion shield works like that? Because the reaction is triggered on attack so when the attack misses it would already be too late, or at least this is how I understood it
Really been enjoying the Lancer content, any plans on doing the mechs of the outer rim? The Caliban is one of my favorites and I'd love to see your take on it
