Hi Eddie! Hey I just changed my tensioner pulley. I'm getting a squealing noise. I tried to take off the bolt for the AC pulley but it seemed rusted. Do I keep trying until the bolt comes off? Maybe spray it with PB Blaster and try again? I guess I should change both pulleys with new ones. When I idle , I'm getting a loud squealing noise. Thanks man !
Hey Lowceez2, Yes, hit it with some pb blaster and when removing... If you attempting to change out the belt, you only have to loosen the bolt so the tension pulley comes down enough to slip belt off... open and close the bolt to break up the rust in the threads as you remove it to avoid it binding and ultimately break... If its a new belt, the squealing can come from not having the right amount of tension so also look into that as well... Hope this helps & keep me updated boss🤘🏼
Not at all, It's just an option for efficiency and also not having to worry about replacing that pulley later down the line. Simple not much to it. No different then removing some unneeded brackets to clean up the engine bay for a cleaner look as well totally optional 🙌🏼🙏🏼
Hey brother so its 2 different OEM belts... I always like to make it easier for others so I always include the parts used in this video (to do a pulley delete mod) and I've also included the OEM one with Links in description below for whichever replacement you are seeking to go with👍🏼
