That was an excellent 1v1 How the scouts were used almost all match, along side the use of mark target and turrets, again excellent. It felt like it was a lesson on the legendary Codex Astartes
best 1v1 iv'e seen in a while. never seen scouts used quite as well as this. excellent positioning and movement from Sofia early game. also the dreadnought did massive work mid game. truly a game to study for space marine players. credit to paradox for standing up to these great plays. (the description lists the space marine player as an apothecary btw Indrid)
Great use of grenades from Sofia. Maybe needs to be a bit more agressive and decap/bash power and stuff. Great work. New intro looks great, still gonna miss the old one. :P
HOLY CRAP! Who is this Sofia dude or dudette? We need more indrid Casts with this player! Poor paradox just got destroyed at every approach he made. Double Heretics got wrecked, then the raptors, then the plague marines! All made possible by the efforts of the scouts. Shame they went down in the nuke though :(
Awesome game and really interesting to watch. I wonder what went into the decision making process to make the scouts move around as a duo exclusively rather than split them up across the map for more coverage.
i miss this game. i tried to get into it competitively, maybe not to enter tournaments, but to enjoy the more challenging gameplay. but when i go on steam its like dead with no one around.
@@GrippeeTV i tried elite mod. same issue like the only way i found anyone was direct custom games and majority of them the person either leaves or kicks you out if you have like more than 1 loss the "find random opponent" option doesnt do anything but loads forever. i just wanna face off against random people.
@@MannyKunV oh then yeah you’re not going to have a good time with that lol. Elite is still pretty active, but you mostly have to use the discord and find players on there to join a custom game. I’m pretty sure having the mod disables matchmaking, and without the Mod, the vanilla game is basically totally dead because Elite just makes it so much better that that’s what everyone’s using. So if you’re trying to match make you’re kinda SoL. Company of Heroes 2 is still very active, think it goes like 10k current players most time of the day, so if you like DoW2 but want matchmaking, you could try that game. They play largely the same. I just play DoW because the setting is one of my all time favorites and is far more interesting to me than WWII.

paradox got out countered and when he failed to kill the dread while sacing his crushed into it was the begining of the end the scouts obliterating the plague boy's was horrid for him

Yikes just couldn't keep watching halfway through Chaos player so sloppy! This isn't really a 1v1 it's a textbook demonstration of being utterly outclassed

Paradox had a huge momentum at 23:20. He could've taken out the predator tank and the dread if he would've moved his tank....

That’s because most people are playing with the Elite Mod and not the retail version
