1:25 When I create facet dome and attach populated points, bounding box and radius, it gives an error; "1. Solution exception: Object reference not set to an instance of an object". If I remove either one of "box" or "radius" parameters, the error goes away. However in that case I can't control the facets' radii, if I remove the radius component. Did exactly as you did in the video.
sir, thank you for the tutorial! may i know how to apply this to an ellipse surface? i tried inserting the ellipse surface into the surface container but after connected to facet dome it will still form a dome shape instead of an ellipse
Maybe you can make model like this and use Solid difference with ellipse form. Or use Solid difference with Voronoi 3D. See here for the reference ruclips.net/video/jJxlS9zLxFU/видео.html
Nice tutorial Easy to follow, ...nothing easy to find alone! (Why so many flatten and grafts?) Thanks! ---I thought that with the 3D voronoi, it would be much simpler even.--
Quick question: what happens if I need to use a sphere that goes into the -z direction? Because yours stopped at the plane. But the one I want to use goes all the way.
Hello, I followed your tutorial and everything looks good in wireframe. When I go to render (or view in shaded) it renders as a plain sphere. Is there a step I am missing?

Try making bigger box than sphere.
Many thanks, This is truly fruitful, Can we apply the same concept on a freeform surface?
Some types of surface will work but it is not for all because script contains Scale component from center of the sphere.
thanks for the tutorial, what is the name of the very first component, the one with the eye glasses icon?
That allows you to see components name, not related to design.
bifocals.

@@JuneLeeDesign thank you for the suggestion sir.
It works with voronoi, thank you so much, sir!

Thanks. I am still confusing too when there are a lot of data trees..
Ah, I did it the first time! Thank you for such clear steps! What does Flatten do? What does Graft do?

@@JuneLeeDesign Thank you! This explains a lot.

Just make a sphere and apply same script.
I used an Elliptical shape and it works too!
@@jeanniellewellyn198 thank you for the clarification!
is possible use a rettangle?
Grid pattern or apply to the cubic volume?
a cube that has this on the 4 sides/5 sides.
inside cable, like video, so you can insert plans@@JuneLeeDesign
is it possible to apply this same script to a mesh or polysurface? great tutorial btw!
It depends on the form. I am not sure which kind of surface you want but this might help you. ruclips.net/video/jJxlS9zLxFU/видео.html

That is not possible.. I think you did not delete or hide first geometry(trimmed sphere) so it covers the final design.
I don't know why the main figure doesn't take me? I do the "Surface + Set one ..." step but not nathing
No idea..please check if you made surface not a mesh.
I learned a lot from this tutorial. but the music is pure torture
