I would half that pita and then half it again and eat that piece with my meal. I think she loves the pickle stuff for the vinegar, flavored vinegars without added sugar and salt, can spruce up a bland meal. Personally I use fresh lemon and white balsamic to cut my sodium.

Excess weight is excess weight. Being 250lb of muscle may be slightly healthier than being 250lb of fat but your joints etc are unhappy either way. There's a reason most bodybuilders, competitive weightlifters etc drop weight when they retire and that's because it's so unhealthy to be so big.
In my opinion, she moved the shed load of rice to one side, to make herself and us think that the rice was a medium portion and not the hubcap that it really was. The oil slick in the aubergine dish and the fact that aubergine has a tendency to soak up all oil🤦🏽♀️
She says the marinated eggplant is “the best stuff ever”, so why isn’t she eating more of that and less rice and bread. They also love to boast how cheap the food is, more eggplant would cost more, the rice and bread are cheap, so it fills you up, but it’s not healthy. So the fact it’s cheap isn’t the flex they think it is.

She only sees herself through slimming filters, ditto her portions, lol. Also, she gets so little fiber in her diet. I'd add a coleslaw with a vingrette dressing, another cooked veg and maybe some avocado on the side.
If she cut the rice down to one cup, and halved the portions of tahini and pita, this meal would have been under 700 cals. For Foodie, that would be legitimate progress. Eat the whole fish, who cares. I’m not taking into account sodium or carbs, only calories
Thank you so much for the macros. I just want to point out that the bread shes eating is not pita, its called “egyptian bread” and it has more calories. For 100g of loaf it has about 270 calories.
Hey Sansa! I’m just wondering if you know if that fish was tilapia or did you just use tilapia as a generic fish since she didn’t specify? She did have a very small portion of vegetable with the eggplant. It looked so sad when juxtaposed with the mountain of rice. 😂 I do low carb high protein and the 8oz of fish seems like a good choice (though I’m nit picky and wouldn’t eat tilapia if I had another option like mahi mahi). And the 8oz portion seems ok. I usually get individually wrapped wild caught salmon, mahi mahi, etc. from Costco and those tend to be between 5 to 7 ounces. In fact tonight I’m having 7oz roasted salmon in the air fryer and sautéed zucchini for dinner and the protein is about 49g. My carbs (12g) and sodium (334mg) are way less. Fat from the salmon and olive oil are about the same (38g), but those are good fats. I think that’s a good meal and portion, nutritionally speaking with the meal coming in at 587 calories and 407 of those calories coming from the salmon. This meal she had was better than normal for Chins, but you’re right about her portions. I agree with a side salad and then cutting the rice down by at least half. I was surprised at the sodium content of the hot sauce and tahini. It’s so important to scrutinize your sauces! They can really throw everything off track!Wow! With that in mind, now that I think about it, if she got a side salad she would probably drown it in dressing! Anyhow, I appreciate your work! Thanks. 😊
@ Yeah. I thought that’s why you used it. I stay away from tilapia and do mahi mahi for my white fish since mahi mahi gives pretty good nutritional value to the table especially if it’s wild caught. Sometimes I may splurge on Chilean Sea Bass. It’s really amazing how much good quality fish is available at Costco for reasonable prices. Highly recommend. 👍

Heck, I'd opine that Salah puts more effort into her dieting than she does, because he clearly does not want a wife that size who can't do anything, and doesn't even want to unless incentivized with food...which only compounds the problem.
In prior vids when Foodie ate that fish, she commented on the crispy fried skin. I gotta think the fatty skin (perhaps with breading, as she mentioned some recipes use wheat germ coating) will absorb oil and add calories.
A salad is a great idea! An Egyptian restaurant near me has a terrific Alexandrian salad and one of my favorites is always the fattoush. I also think that each little cup of the tahini was about 2 ounces each so 8 tablespoons total. I didn't watch the video but I assume she ate both cups?

I really wonder if she needs a multi vitamin cus she could be having issues with malnutrition if she’s not eating vegetables regularly. @ you’ve been around for a while maybe a great year end comp would be something like all the happy times with food versus “happy times” with totally not a scammer paid for hizzzzband 😉
My advice to her would be to start off by ditching the sauces altogether and reduce the portion size. THEN start introducing veggies. I get that it's impossible for her to do it all at once, but she's really not trying to change much of anything. In a fairly recent livestream, Salah said he was going to order grilled fish and brown rice, and she was upset because "it's really filling." Isn't that what she should be going for? If she can't get over her psychological addiction to junk food she'll make no progress, and she's not open to that.
3-4oz is the size of ONE BITE that she usually loads on her fork while eating poutine or pasta!!! She should know this measurement quite well!!! 🙄🤷🏻♀️🤭
Foodie's Healthy Meals are cheat meals for the rest of the world. And the thing is, she's done the diet boxes. She knows what a real portion is, she just doesn't like it, so it's down the memory hole.
Oh Boy, your detailed & for accuracy, an OCD compulsion for excel & minors . . Damn, "You I. should marry . . . & the we'd, rule this beautiful again" . Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
No, you don't understand really. I mean, she's a food addict, so you have to think about it. She doesn't want to eat foods that make her satiated. She doesn't want to eat vegetables. She doesn't want to eat chicken. She doesn't want to eat high protein. Because those things will make her feel full and satisfied. She wants to stuff herself physically on food so to do that. She has to eat the most processed foods possible. Those are the only foods that are going to allow you to overeat without making you feel satiated. If she ate healthy Whole Foods, she wouldn't be able to eat. That's not what she wants. She wants to be able to gorge herself on food. She physically likes the filling of being full with food. That makes her feel bad.She knows what food she supposed to eat.She won't eat it because she doesn't want to get better. She is addicted to food. It's not about her ignorant, it's about her literal addiction.
I want to know what Salah is going to do with her when she gets very sick and immobile soon or loses a limb from diabetes. Something is going to happen soon. At that point she won’t be able to travel back to Canada. What will Salah do with her????

She did enjoy that perfectly cooked chicken Salah made
When i was younger and started counting calories, I thought eating healthy meant eating as much as you want. Luckily, I understand now. It's crazy she doesn't understand that yet
she would lose an insane amount of weight by just cutting out rice from her diet full stop.
Now when I watch Foodie Beauty, I just want to workout.
The salt alone is enough for a hear attack!!!!!
222g of carbs per one meal...(I barely eat 50g of carbs for the entire day).
Chantal the Crabby Carby Queen.
I think that tahini dressing for 4 tbsp has closer to 300/350 calories
I’ve never seen a woman so unhappy in all my life 😂. But ok tell us how unhappy WE are
She did seem rather off.
Wow. Posted a minute ago 😮🎉
3-4oz is the size of ONE BITE that she usually loads on her fork while eating poutine or pasta!!! She should know this measurement quite well!!! 🙄🤷🏻♀️🤭
She’s not confused about the amount of fish. Rule #1 because embarrassed
All those numbers far exceed the total daily allowance.
Dang that’s almost my calories for the full day! And I bet she barely counted the calories because it’s “homemade” and it’s healthy fish.
It’s obvious that she doesn’t want to lose weight .
1500 calories is more than I eat & drink in a whole day - and she wolfed it down it 10 minutes.
Foodie's Healthy Meals are cheat meals for the rest of the world. And the thing is, she's done the diet boxes. She knows what a real portion is, she just doesn't like it, so it's down the memory hole.
She’s not wearing her wedding ring!
Huh, Sally must've been in charge of ordering out today. The look of sheer disgust when she unwrapped that fish is all we need to know.
Yes!! And she said this was their favorite dish and she orders it every week!!! Gorl, I've NEVER seen this meal before, let alone every week! 😞😞
Oh Boy, your detailed & for accuracy, an OCD compulsion for excel & minors . . Damn, "You I. should marry . . . & the we'd, rule this beautiful again" . Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
wow she ate my daily calories in one meal...
Same
like if she just cut out the rice from her diet, she'd cut out so many calories.
And spikes in her blood sugar!
What will Salah do with her????
what is always with the freak high sodium! my god
More tahini than eggplant 😅
Has anyone seen Julia?
Yeah, her scar is alarming 😢
That fish could easily feed 4 people, same with rice. Hardly any vegetables. Not good for 1, FB.
I love fish but this definitely a good meal for 2-3. All it needs is salad or some basic veg.
@SansaCooks Not big on fish. So wouldn't eat much. It is a healthy meal for FB. Just a little smaller portion would help her.
As if the fish is the problem. She could eat two fishes and dump the rice and bread.
First! ❤😊🎉
🎉
I can’t understand for the life of me why the heck she ALWAYS eats both bread and rice with almost every meal. It is not necessary at all.
