I agree these are great comfortable ear plugs, I’ve been using them for a few years. The mini grip tends to tear off eventually. That might be the time to throw them away , however the fitting tool also works as an extraction tool, just refit and twist out. On the earlier versions there were no mini grips and that’s how Alpine recommended removal, so it works for sure.😊

I've been using these for more than 10 years since I discovered them. Not the black tipped Tour ones but the Red tipped Race ones. If you don't have a touring bike with a huge windscreen and ride over 100 km/h : Alpine MotoSafe *Race* Ear Plugs are strongly recommended 👍

Had a couple of pairs. Used foamys and cheap plugs. Those where ok but i think these alpine ones are by far the best. You can walk around with them in offvthe bike abd you forget you've got them in. They somehow take all that top end out of the wind noise.
Honestly can't recommend them enough. If i loose one i order a new pair immediately

Thanks for sharing this review. I always enjoy and your videos👍
I have the touring version of these plugs. My bike is a R1250GS with a GSA ( Givi ) windscreen. I am ( short ) 178 cm.
When wearing my Shoei Gt Air 2 the plugs are "ok". Music in the Sena is loud and clear and wind noise is not too bad, but noticeable.
When wearing my ( favorite lid ) Nexx X.wed2, they are pretty much useless. It´s almost like wearing no plugs at all.
I also have a pair of molded earplugs ( from AudiaNova ). These block out everything BUT wind noise, they are very hard/uncomfortable on long rides.
So - for me - nothing beats the cheap £0,05 foam rubber plugs that i throw away after every ride🙂

Who likes to listen to music on the highway through his headset will be thrilled, also the music playback is much better due to the reduction of wind noise

Excellent review! I have tried eargasm, earpeace and fitlife. And The toughest part is getting them properly inserted. These seem like they would be easier to insert properly ,using the tool. But the tabs on these are much longer and I wonder if the will drag on my fullface helmet and get pushed out of pace when putting helmet on? I looked at reviews and everyone seems to agree there is no issue with that at all. I may give these a try. Thank You

      Total comfort! 17euros plus shipping.
It's recommended to lubricate the plugs to facilitate easy insertion. A tiny amount of saliva is sufficient and I found that makes it all simpler to use.

@@gsd32i : it’s not your ears, it’s that design. An applicator for ear plugs is really dumb. Say you loose that tiny plastic piece. You can’t inset them into your ears ? Makes zero sense.
