Just bought the bigger one a few months ago and find it too big so when this came out I bought the smaller one. I hope fishpond (or another company) gets smart and makes the bigger one with the same waist belt style of the smaller one so that it can be removed. It would be nice to be able to have a system where you could buy one belt that could be used as a lumbar belt but also as a sling and then different packs that could go on the belt...kind of like a changeable system.

I’ve been holding out on the submersible packs for a while due to costs and features. When I saw that the belt is removable and can go on wader belt, had to have it. They need to update the larger one with removable belt so that you can use it as a boat bag and other things.
Btw the small bag I got is incredible, already selling my other bags and may buy bigger just for the hell of it.

Did you add a small lumbar pack to your kit? Hows it working out for you?
Is it compatible with the switchback wading belt? I’d love to remove the pack on there already and replace it with this waterproof one.
