high school of the dead is one of the best examples of how the human mind can degenerate if there is no control just think of the touching story of mr shido who brought out his true nature 💀
Cant call it a rip off until we know for sure they claimed credit for creating it, and copy righted it. Otherwise its a remake/cover. Otherwise, "Thats life" by frank sinatra is a rip off of the person who originally wrote the song and sung it.
I don't remember which episode but there's also a track which plays briefly at some point in the show which is a direct reference to the shopping scene in 28 days later. Always cool seeing something geninely passionate which never misses an opportunity to include cool references.
daisuke sato passed away still I am going to miss him anyway he was the best manga artist ever but I am sad there will not be able make season 2 of high school of the dead I'm sad now 😢😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Japan: "we don't do zombies anime, movies and TV shows because it's disrespect the dead." United States: "Zombies anime, movies, and T.V shows are awesome."
This anime had a confirmed 2nd season i think? Dunno why it got cancelled, but some say when the Tsunami disaster happened in Japan... im not yet sure but there WAS a video at the past, i am trying to find where it is but... so far that '2nd season' confirmation is shrouded. I might be just seeing things, i was still at my teens, probably got too excited. What i want to say is, It's a shame, while the Anime itself had too much 'ecchi' content in it, I wanted the group to see how far they can survive or how much can they sacrifice.
@@levi3535 I know, but there was a PV and confirmation BEFORE when the Author was still alive. It's just after that all possibility of continuation is, Gone.z I just want to see that PV again but it seems it got deleted and was not archived.
It seems that studio knew one thing: They will not be able to be better than 28 Weeks Later. And that's why they did this rip-off. Man, I seriously wish that there were some good zombie anime that is not so much cramped up with Ecchi.
On second thought, I take that back: This is a good zombie anime that seriously deserves second season. I only wish if that second season would have been a little bit serious and not so much cramped with ecchi. Also, I would like to see someone like Lee Everett with little sister that she wants to protect for all cost.
I wish this show hadn't had so much attempts at humor and fan service. we need a good dark zombie anime. like we need us some survival horror game based anime series. not just the cgi movies they make. like we need animated Resident Evil 1, 2, 3, and like there needs to be an Animatrix /Halo anime style collaboration film for the Walking Dead. I want to like HotD so much but it just kept getting too silly in the wrong ways. but this little diddy right here? So good. this song is majorly similar but also subtly very different from John Murphy's track. Also anyone who is salty about the whole "rip off" factor, remember that John Murphy has sold the rights to use the actual In a Heartbeat in a Beowulf trailer, and on America's got Talent segment where a guy shoots himself out of a cannon. So he's not that concerned with the tracks 'integrity'.
Let's be real, unlike Highschool of the Dead, if The Walking Dead was animated and followed the comics it would be straight up porn due to the shear amount of fucking everyone did in the comics when they weren't fighting against people or walkers.
if a zombie apocalypse ever happened and we got high school of the dead zombies............I would take my kitana and kill as many zombies as possible before dying
you sort of almost got it. didn't get the string chords right though. lots of really key sensitive chords that signify the next phrase in the real version. keep trying though! you're getting there!
This is the version that plays in the anime I believe. At no point in the anime does it play the real "In the house in a heartbeat" by John Murphy. It plays an edited version.
+SpikeVallen I meant the recreation of the version played in the show. it's largely different from the track John Murphy composed. has a different mood. different baseline.
I lost my mind when I heard this start to play there’s no better song for zombie stuff than this. So happy they put their own version in
high school of the dead is one of the best examples of how the human mind can degenerate if there is no control just think of the touching story of mr shido who brought out his true nature 💀
From a corrupted teacher to a cult leader.
When i heard this on the anime i remembered the movie of 28 weeks
same its an actual ripoff of it theyve done that with other songs in anime like inuyasha and naruto
Cant call it a rip off until we know for sure they claimed credit for creating it, and copy righted it. Otherwise its a remake/cover.
Otherwise, "Thats life" by frank sinatra is a rip off of the person who originally wrote the song and sung it.
Like the scene that has a shop worker with the name tag "Shaun". That wasnt inherantly a rip off of shaun of the dead, it was a reference.
Lilkdise commune
@@charlespwnage5435 they gave credit it was a type of reference to the movie
FINALLY I'VE FOUND THIS SONG
(I LIKE THIS SONG SCENE IN H.O.T.D)
BECAUSE ITS SIMILLIAR WITH 28 WEEKS LATER
I like that they incorporated their own version into the anime
Ian Worley Yup, Kickass did the same too
R.I.P Daisuke Satō
:(
:(
😭
Damn, I wish he hadn't died, he would have continued the series. The Manga and show are a Masterpiece.😭😭😭
Divergence Rest In Peace Daisuke Sato.
I really wish they would've released this with the soundtrack, this anime had the best soundtrack of all time
+44boman yes
The fact that it kicks in when that nigga stands up a takashi is like badabadabada SWING and that nigga dirs
@@mr.imjustgood7318 “that nigga” lol 😂
1:05 at this moment, it's a remix more dramatic than the original, I think
That scene was so good
Honesty on Episode 1, when this song starts playing.. you know its a great one to put on a great scene
The Good Party Starts Here 1:06 And Ends Here 1:39
just started watching this anime i immediately recognized the 28 theme, so cool
For all you here from "In The House, In A Heartbeat/Don Abandon's Alice" now go listen to "Big Daddy Kills" by John Murphy.
putting the 28 weeks later theme but changing it to their own original version is so cool
I don't remember which episode but there's also a track which plays briefly at some point in the show which is a direct reference to the shopping scene in 28 days later. Always cool seeing something geninely passionate which never misses an opportunity to include cool references.
28 Days Later

H.O.T.D. best zombie anime ever!
HAHA true, all the other zombie anime i have seen arent as good as H.O.T.D.

I really wished this manga/anime wasn't dead/comatose
sad fact,Daisuke Sato passed away...no hope for HOTD series
Fanfiction is our only hope. Sometimes, if stories don't have ending, it is up to us to make our own ending.
you're just wrong
I freaking love this song
I've only started watching this series, bought late spring early summer 2023.. I'm sure i heard this playing near the end of the first episode....
Japan: "we don't do zombies anime, movies and TV shows because it's disrespect the dead."

Meanwhile Korea don't care at all because they came up train to Busan and all of us are dead

It's cool that they did that.
Its not really a cover, its more of a rendition.
Is this really the one they used as BGM on Higshcool of the dead?
it doesn't sound the same on the original though... i mean it lacks the backup alternate guitar

Thanks for ruining this amazing song, Japan.
Faxerton30 this isn't that bad
TheDarkfrostElf It's shit.
Faxerton30 may I hear what your reasoning is?
An opinion can't have a reason it's just what he feels imo this is still good
Well, the song just sounds like a poor man's version of the 28 Days/Weeks Later theme. It just feels cheap, and just all around unpleasent to hear.
