Man, I think so far this is the darkest, bleakest and most hopeless sounding version of the song I've heard so far. Not sure if this can be topped when it comes to covers. I absolutely love it!!

the eye scene was probably one of the most gruesome and brutal deaths i have ever scene in a movie. not just because it was him JAMMING HIS THUMBS INTO THE DUDE'S EYES but just the blood chilling scream. it was a very real sounding scream that still haunts me. amazing movie, still waiting for 28 months later
If u hated that. Never watch 28 weeks later then, that eye gouging scene will give u a fucking headache its so gruesome. Watched it once at 8 or 9 and finally watched it again at 18 and u know what, it was as gruesome as I remembered, I had to cover my eyes

I associate this song with so many fake / fanmade trailers for Half-Life 2: Episode 3; and now here we are, over a decade later, and a new Half-Life game is finally coming out

Apparently this song was meant to invoke the feeling of pure dread and despair, and I can say, it does this amazingly, the original too.
