ive watched the IWD-Jankos exchange on twitter, thought "oh yeah, they just banter, IWD admitted he didnt know sth, cool" and then i supposed the thing ended, hearing that reddit made a drama out of harmless banter is truly a reddit moment
It's nice for Dom & Monte to include a McDonalds drive through employee in the podcast
I like Dom but I don't agree with him here. Dramatizing player mistakes is his trademark and gets him a lot of viewers, but he has to accept that when he makes a mistake, pushback will be much harder because of it. I also don't agree with taking the L not being worth it. You don't take the L to get something out of it; you do it because it's the proper thing to do.
Yeah, but it is fucked that people will continue to make witch hunts on the daily against him. Talking out of their ass and going off of their distorted image of Dom.
There is Taking an L for the point he made, but there is a whole other problem when they take that to mean they can say whatever they want and because of this everything else is bad
pretty sure he understands the tradeoff, he means it's not worth it as in it's not worth the mental toll of getting dogpiled by people who would do a far worse job than him in his shoes.

"like" isn't a filler for non english speakers, it has like a dozen different meanings depending on the context and it's kind of an important part of spoken language. You only learned that it's "bad" to say "like" often because of linguistic prejudice, which derived from some idiots who thought they were better than everybody started going around and spreading the myth that people who say "like" a lot are idiots, mainly to make themselves look more important with their fancy vocabularies.
