One of your best thanks guys especially reference to boot size to waist width between James and Grant super helpful thank you 🤙
Many thanks!
This is one Of my my faves. 57w this thing rips and floats pretty well on reference. Haven’t been on super deep but like 1-2ft I can feel the float. Carving on groomers just amazing for what it is.
Yeah the groomer prowess surprised us for sure. Glad you like it.
Hey what's your weight for the archetype 57w?
Even better @timhunt7155 can you tell us:
Boot size?
Weight?
Height?
Boot size us most important. Especially for Wide boards.
@@thegoodridesnow I’m 180lbs -190 6ft 10.5us fuse though I think I was on slx 11us when I was riding this. Would prob size up to 160 if I got again
Different board but 152 storm chaser 25 for deep in the trees Japan?
Thanks Tim!
Hello man nice to listen another good review!!!
Have a question for you, I understood that this Archetype is a very fun board but it floats and carves as well as the Korua Cafe Racer or Korua does this things better???
THX 🙏🏻
Thanks! These are two pretty different boards. The Cafe' Racer has a much stiffer/wider shape size vs. size with the Archetype. Both carve very well but differently. Both float very well but the Cafe' Racer has more set back and more float. The Archetype is better if you see a lot of steep terrain and like to get a lot of air.
@@thegoodridesnow Hi man thanks for your reply, I’m almost an old man who want to replace his old Orca for a new all mountain board, but like yourself, I don’t think to go into park or half pipe cause my shoulders have gone many years ago, so I just love to carve, jumps, playing around the resort, go into pow and when is possible trying to slalom through the trees, is it good enough or is a really strong board?
It's really hard to say based on the info I have about you. YT is a horrible place to give real advice. Hit me here to give me the info I need to help you much better. shop.thegoodride.com/merchandise/gear-advice/
Hi. I have ION Step on boots (11.0) and Burton X Step on bindings (2024) - will they be good for new Archetype? I am thinking about 164 cm (I have 195 lbs and 6,2 ft). And the last important question - is this board also good for agressive "dance" on bumpy crud?
Yeah they will work well if you get the Archetype in Wide but not the regular sizes. Yeah the construction does well in uneven snow.
Could you please tell me what size you were riding?
158. If you click through to the full review all specs are there.
