"D" is funny how 44 years when I started driving trucks, in my dumptruck, I was told, "always close your door when you step out or another truck will rip it off" That's ingrained in me still 44 years after, when I see you leave your door open and walk away, it freaks me out, I say to myself, close the door, close the door!! 😍 I know as you know that it depends on where we're at, but I can't even do that in an empty lot, I have to close it 🤪❤

okay TRUST ME ON THIS, change your trailer abs fuse (30A). the trailer abs light keeps kicking on which means its running on brake power when it should have a 12v constant on the center pin on your tractor trailer green electrical cable. THANK ME LATER, with a shoutout u know

I'm sure there's some differences truck to truck, like the steering stops, flat top, looks like this truck may have a taller rear gear in it and isn't as happy on the highway...
But what Drivetrain do you like better? Is the CAT where it's at, or was the 60 series the way to go?

I use to run all over the place with a company. One day I'd start at 6-8am then some days start at 1am. And man was the 1am start times ever hard....They were fairly short drives, 4 hour one way but I'd have to take a quick shut eye before I'd cross Canada/US border cause sometimes I'd spend 2 hrs easily just crossing. Manager always got pisssed off at me for taking a half hr to an hr nap and wrote me up for it because as they stated " I should have gotten my rest at home during the 10 hour off duty time" when they were running me at random start times. Sure I got my 10 hours reset but when you start at 7am then start at 1am a few days later it fucks with your system. I left this company and now I'm paying for it BAD.....Makes me wonder if it's ever worth getting back into the industry, even though I love it.

I started driving heavy wreckers in Chicago in 83’ Talk about a trip of a job. You see every mistake a driver can make up close and don’t wanna make the same ones.Worked right at Mannheim and 294/North Ave area by the airport. I probably towed a hundred T/T before I ever drove one. Be a great job for anybody looking to break into the industry. Ooops babbling sorry.
