Hasbro has never captured the genuine color of their Jean Grey Figures. It's always painted with this Burgundy Brownish Red Paint. From the Rocket Racoon Jean Grey then Juggernaut Phoenix to the Dark Phoenix 2 Pack and now this Love Triangle 3 Pack. For what I know, as a great fan of the Jim Lee Era, Jean Grey has always been illustrated with a long, mane like hair with a RED/ORANGE color with some BLONDE Highlights. The "TOYBIZ" Phoenix is the only Jean Grey Figure that has acquired the accuracy of the hair color. Great review Xmanny87....

Very excited to finally add Jean to my collection, especially with this being a superior figure to the previous release. Also I’m glad they went with the orange/beige
I don’t have the original versions of these figures so I’m stoked to add these to my collection the only thing I want to change is the cyclops I wish he had the normal arms instead of the bomber jacket

I do to but i read the uncanny x-men and tye costume was yellow but people are right but this is x-men jean not uncann x-men.
I read BOTH X-Men that Whilce Portacio & Jim Lee did, and this version of her costume has ALWAYS been orange, UNTIL right after they left to form image, and then, for whatever reason, the colorists started making it way more yellow. People cry over some STUPID shiz, man, I tell ya!
I have a degree in commercial graphics & design, so I know SOMETHING about colors, and I swear, I dunno if some of these whiners are colorblind, which is a legitimate excuse, because I'm friends with a reviewer who actually IS colorblind, OR if they just weren't taught colors correctly in school...? I dunno.
I see so many people claiming certain shades of orange are yellow, and certain shades of gray are brown, and so on, and it's baffling.
Either way, yellow or orange, THIS is a nice figure, VERY representative of the character in THIS version of her costume, and people should get over it.

I got Wolverine and I’m not disappointed, surprisingly I love the unmasked head, in my opinion it looks so much better than the picture

Just got this set from my local Gamestop a couple weeks ago, love it so much. Made me load up Disney + and start watching the Animated Series again. BUT, gotta push up my Geek cred glasses, the Cerebro helmet, that piece you put at Jean's nose, should be on the forehead. Overall I also give this set a 10/10. And I got an idea for Morph. Take the blue/gold Deadpool, carefully remove where it says "X-Men" then arms off the jacket and arms off Old Man Logan carefully cleaning off the fur color collar, a Multiple Man head, boom, you got a decent Morph.

@@Xmanny87 Morph from the Animated Series was amazing. And then I love the Morph from Exiles. I was even thinking that spare head that comes with that Deadpool could be a Exiles Morph style head. But if I wanted to use that, I'd need his blue and gold with the cape look.

Almost put my thumb through the phone when I saw your review was up, I have this on pre order from Hasbro so I'll be enjoying it later next yr, jk, but for real I'm gonna rock so many cyc, jean, and stryff pics, which also I perfer with pony tail sculpt,..I also plan to customize that wolvie to be fatal attraction, and the cyclops is honestly a great pick up I think, its gonna be a emotional moment once I get jean, and hasbros prof, for the xmen have such a foothold in my life and to raise my son with an in depth look at the hero's that helped me become who I am is priceless, sry for the rant and great great review, thank you

I think that If you realy want to use that songbird effect with Jean Maybe you should try to turn it around in a way that the peg isn't in the same place as the figure and try to use a stand or something like that to hold it. Hope u underatand what I'm saying 🤞🤞 amazing review!

Anyone else having trouble with the butterfly joints of wolverine in this pack? The one before had better movement, this one feels like it's going to break if I keep trying to push the butterfly joint.

Yeah awesome review cuz . Magnets 🧲 for the song bird effect. Clip the peg . Glue . Sticky tack so you don’t have to drill any holes so you don’t have to damage the figure. 🤷🏻♂️

This set pleasantly surprised the hell out of me. Originally I wasn't psyched to get the other two that I already have, but boy was I wrong. They really changed it up so much, it doesn't feel like you're paying three times the amount just for Jean. So for those that thought we didn't need yet another Wolverine (especially a tiger stripe), well here you go...enjoy.

Kylie Jenner lips 🤣. Yep, that sums it up perfectly. I'm not a fan of that head, but wasn't sure why..now I know. Speaking on animated series looks, it's interesting they didn't go with the lighter blue for Wolverine. And a closed mouth "Madripoor" head would've been great, blue highlights and all. But I know we'll get a head like that sooner than later.

Great review! As great as the Jean figure is, my favourite figure from this set was Cyclops. I was never able to find the original Warlock Wave Cyclops, and to finally get a Cyclops figure in the Jim Lee style (even though it has the jacket on), with better colours, is great! Plus, with this Cyclops figure having the jacket on, it makes him look more bulkier, which is great because I always felt that the Warlock Wave version looked a bit skinny in comparison to what Jim Lee drew back then.
Yeah, it's funny that apparently Wolverine called them slim...but I never thought Cyclops was slender in the slightest. I have both, and yeah, this is the best version. The colour scheme is definitely cooler. I'm totally cool with the jacket. This'll be my default version, while the other's getting one of those sunglasses heads.

The thing I always thought was funny is how those bone claws turn into the much straighter and slender adamantium ones lol.
One RUclipsr commented in a review that the bone claws were removable from the silver bits. So I've been going around telling everyone you can do that. Getting a close-up look in your review (cause I haven't opened mine), it totally looks like the claws and silver bits are one solid piece.
Yup they indeed are.
I get what you’re saying. Artists will always translate the claws differently though. McFarlane used very dramatic and fat style claws with slanted edges. Jim Lee did thinner and straighter claws. I’d you go back to the 70s the claws were a bit fatter in the middle and skimmed up toward the tip.
