Why would the wizards (worst team in the league) give up a first round draft pick and their only center to take a shot on a washed up Wiggins who doesn't fit their timeline and change. They would probably rather take a shot at a high upside guy with that 1rp and continue to build up Bagleys trade value.
I've learned that for some (okay a lot lol) of players in their vitals their potential is capped at their current overall. Even with you adjusting pro/regression rates, they still won't move beyond that mark. It was super tedious, but I've had to manually go through every player and give them some type of potential range, and that might help you out too
have you ever tried lowering “player fame” and “minimum overall rating” in the contract slider settings? you see guys like westbrook take MLE/minimums in the league often now, its really not realistic for guys in their late 30s to be demanding so much money to play. its something i do in my rebuilds and it also helps with how stacked FA gets just a few years in to a rebuild. but great video bro i been watching for years u still grinding🙏🏼
I wish he changed Carter"s position to PG to balance out the mins. Seeing 0 mins allocated to that position on the rotation menu pained me to see. 2K doesn't take into account the secondary positions so it would have made more sense to change Carter to PG and make his secondary position SG.

To make it more fair you can pick any team you want or an expansion team and pick 3 current unc players in the league to add to your team for free and have a top 5 pick so you can get drake powell or ian jackson guarenteed. maybe you could fleece someone and get both.... anyway it would be awesome if you did this!
