    It's sad to say but these days the content creators rarely actually try the products they review. It's refreshing to see that you give your opinion after making a big dent in the product or after you use it up.

    The mediheal serum broke me out and I don’t even have sensitive skin! It kinda reminded me of fragranced oil, so overall not a pleasant experience. The same happened with me for the Goodall serum. This shows that what works for some may not work for you. I personally love the numbuzin no 5 toner and concentrated serum.
    Anyway, love your videos Cyoung!

    Oh woah the Olive young Tea session seemed to be very nice!
    I think (I also checked) K-beauty has better composition than Japanese one.. Korean has less problematic ingredients in their compositions. I think Korean skincare is more advanced and that they mix more actives in theirs products so we can have more benefits :)
    Oh I would love a French beauty vs Korean beauty session it would be fun ahah
    See you next week !! 🥰☀

    • @CYounginyou
      @CYounginyou  6 дней назад +1

      마현님! It’s really great to see you again! You’re absolutely right.🫶🏼
      The reason Japanese cosmetics are used less in Korea than before is that their ingredients are often less gentle, making people with sensitive skin hesitant to use them.
      Korean products tend to remove all harmful or controversial ingredients, whereas Japanese products often stick to their traditional formulas.
      I should also cover European beauty vs. Korean beauty sometime. That’s a great idea! Merci love💕

    I shifted from korean skincare products to japanese skincare products because jbeauty is more effective and affordable. I just want products that work, without the gimmicks. Japan ranks #1 when it comes to research and technology in their cosmetics (followed by US, France, then Korea).

      Same. I love Kbeauty but had to switch because it's a little _too_ trend-driven for my sensitive skin. I can appreciate the thought behind adding some of the most well-tolerated active ingredients. But my skin barrier absolutely CANNOT take niacinamide and/or hyaluronic acid in every. single. product. Jbeauty isn't immune to it either (mainly with HA), but I find that their formulations generally tend to be more straightforward so it's a lot easier to navigate.

    Great idea to compare both! Tsubaki hair mask smells so nice and is very good for short, blond colored hair. I will definitely repurchase whatever is the price. I like Hadalabo premium milk in a blue bottle, great for combo skin, makes the skin soft. As I live in Paris I am still waiting for the sun to come up to use all the Korean sunscreens that I bought. In general I think kbeauty is more precocious about the ingredients, you can buy eyes closed. Bye!

      You’re absolutely right! Korean cosmetics continuously remove harmful ingredients, making them more suitable for sensitive skin. On the other hand, Japanese cosmetics often stick to their traditional formulas. That’s why they are less preferred in Korea compared to before.

    Ohhh, I use the rohto melano cc in my routine. As a combi to oily type skin, my skin unexpectedly loves it! And it's interesting to see that you don't find the texture agreeable because I always thought this would be good on dry skin whenever I use it. It's oily yes but not thick and absorbs quickly and it doesn't peel under my moisturizer and sunscreen (I use roundlab and skin1004 ss for AM and dear klairs for PM), but I can see how the texture might be off putting for some. For the brightening effect, I don't really see it but I DO notice a significant change in my dark spots and acne scars after 2 ish weeks of usage. Kind of funny because if you can brighten up my spots why can't you brighten up the whole face too?😂 Anyway I think this lives up to its claim, but I won't repurchase because I want to try another vitamin C product. What do you think of numbuzin's no 5 serum?

    • @pennyzsaalfeld
      @pennyzsaalfeld 5 дней назад

      I've used it as well, and am currently using a cosrx vc. Anything with ascorbic acid does feel greasy/oily. It should absorb though, since it isn't actually an oil. I've used a few different brands, and they all feel that way. I just wait about a min before I apply anything else.

      @pennyzsaalfeld oooh i see, i've just recently started doing skincare (I'm 19, i started when i just got out of highschool) and i used to use vitamin c from another brand called skintific which is pretty big here in indonesia and it doesn't feel like oil at all so this info is new to me. thanks!

  • @Shirley159z
    @Shirley159z 7 дней назад +1

    It's interesting to see for most product, I have the opposite winner than you. I prefer kose oil cleanser than anua and I pick round lab sunscreen all the way than biore one. I think anua oil cleanser is heavier than kose (reason I prefer kose), so for comparison it's more similar to skin1009 oil cleanser (stings my eyes so I return back to kose) which is runnier in texture. Biore sunscreen on the other hand was my holy grail for years before I found round lab one. That one change the sunscreen game for me. Oh the interesting thing is I cannot use most of japanese face cleanser because I felt they are too stripping for my skin (I'm oily combo type) so no wonder u become tomato. I tried a lot of japanese and korean cleanser, from drugstore brand to highend brand (like skii, shiseido, sulwhasoo, etc) but japanese cleanser is not buddy2 with my skin in general so I tend to stick just to korean one. Great video btw, love to see more japanese product review in comparison to korean one.

    • @CYounginyou
      @CYounginyou  6 дней назад +2

      I found your review really interesting! 👍
      Over the past 5-6 years, Korean cosmetics have become much gentler, with the rise of mildly acidic cleansers and products for sensitive skin.
      However, traditional Japanese cleansers like Perfect Whip are alkaline, so using them daily could really turn your face red like a tomato. I’m a bit scared to try them on my face again, but I’ll gather some other products and prepare a part two.
      Thanks for sharing love💕❤️

    • @Shirley159z
      @Shirley159z 3 дня назад +1

      @@CYounginyou yes, tried perfect whip once and never came back.. hahaha.. yeah, maybe you should try other japanese products except their cleanser.. oh but if I have to say, their cleansing balm is very good, u should try the rosette one!! I really love it!
      Personally I also love japanese bulk face mask for time where I was too lazy in the morning. I saw some korean brands made the bulk mask also nowadays, happy to see that.
      Ah, and for your dry skin, u should try CUREL brand because they made very good hydrating product. They r a little bit like aestura in my opinion.
      Other than skincare, japanese also made very good hair products. One that is surprised me the most is Orbis Hair Milk. Never seen hair milk before, it's so interesting and the product is so good especially if u have very fine hair. Hair oil in general tends to weight my hair down but not this product. It was my best finding for hair in 2024. Haha..

    In my opinion Japanese hair care is quite good, but their skincare has let me down. Their skincare is more irritating in my experience and they have little innovation. In my opinion there is a lot better korean skincare than japanese skincare but people focus on 'viral korean skincare' of which many are mediocre cashgrabs. Isa Knox, Iope, dr. Different are all very good brands that are super popular but get no attention online.
