Thank you for sharing love the shawls, I have been on a shawl kick for some time now, the more styles the better, I too am a big chested person along with being fluffy, 😂😂😂😂 but I agree with your analogy of each shawl, thanks Katrina for sharing, I really enjoyed it. Until the next time.❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

Very interesting video. I love my Keeping Awe in Stitches shawl but I wear my vius/granny shawls the most as I wear them in the evening when it cools down . Take care and keep safe. xxJane
Hi Katrina, Thank you so much for sharing everything about shawls with us!! You made some beautiful shawls!! I love the crescent shaped shawl too!! I made probably 7 or more Virus meets Granny shawls this last year and I love that pattern too. It was the first shawl I ever tried. Thank you so much for sharing everything with us!! Please take care and stay safe and healthy 💕💗💖🎶🦋
Your shawls are all beautiful Katrina, the last shawl I crocheted was rectangular, it's more like a long, wide scarf and you're right, it took forever! I've never made an asymmetrical shawl, simply because I wouldn't know how to wear it with one skinny end and one wide end, I don't think I'd know how to style it.
Very pretty shawl i doing one but that afghan is taking over me 6 strips on now lol i think i am doing Fibre Spider i think doesn’t look like it like it that way around your neck wow love the purples that is gorgeous
Enjoyed seeing all the pretty shawls! Shawls are among my favorite patterns to knit, though I don’t wear them that much. I would like to make a Pi Shawl sometime. Maybe that’s a good fall or winter project.
You might like a pattern called "the spill shawl". It's free on Raverly. It's works well with a self stripping yarn such as mandala yarn. I've made a couple of different colors of it and different sizes. It's very comfortable to wear! I love a cresant shawl.
Hello Katrina. All of your shawls are beautiful. I hate having anything around or near my neck. I have a list of shawls and scarfs I would like to make but I would never wear them. I went allll the way back to your first videos to see if you mentioned the name of the yarn for the cresent shaped shall, it's a superwash Marino wool but you didn't remember the brand or name in any of those videos. I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day/week. 🙏🙌😊
Oh my goodness, thank you for looking for it. I bought it at my local yarn store which sells a lot of Knitting Fever brands. I might be able to narrow it down.
This was very helpful! Have you ever knit or crocheted a Faroese shawl? I understand it's great for a shawl to keep you warm while staying put on your shoulders as you move around. I plan to make one some day.
How interesting, I really love the virus meets granny. Have a Happy Mother's Day, Katrina!
Thank you! You too!

They can be a little challenging to style. A lot depends on how fast or slow the increases occur.

Awesome video. Thanks so much
Glad you liked it!
Thank you very interesting
Glad you enjoyed it
These shawls are beautiful! I love to make shawls, but I don't wear them very much, because the flappy ends annoy me. So now I make some cowls...
I love shawls and I do wear them, but I don't like it when the ends get in the way,
Thanks this was interesting and useful. I’ve only made a couple of shawls so far and this really helped me to know what I want to try next. 🧶💕🧶
Glad it was helpful! Any shape is fun to make.

It does take a long time to hook that many squares together.

I've seen those, but always thought it seemed like a lot of work when only 1/2 of the shawl shows at a time. There is a Half Pie Shawl, though.

I love a cresant shawl.
Thank you!! I went over, looked at it, and downloaded it. It is really pretty, thanks again.
Very informative
Glad you liked it. You must be binge watching my videos LOL
@@katrinascreationscrafting I do. Plus I watch on tv then forget to comment on the tablet. Ty for helping me get the glow worm yarn I needed.

Have you ever made the Papllion shawl? Making it now. Love it!
No, I will have to look that one up.

Yes, I have made 2. One for myself which is a blue cotton, and a tan one for my mother. It does stay on your shoulders very easily.
This Wednesday's video is going to be about Faroese Shawls along with some free pattern recommends.
Katrina's Creations Crafting Podcast, Great, looking forward to it!
