- Overwatch 2 Season 9 is here! Today we look at all the new skins and cosmetics in the Season 9 Battle Pass and shop! New Eldritch horror skins are added for Torbjorn, Lifeweaver, Sigma, Widowmaker, and more, including the new Mythic Moira skin! Moira mythic, Bashtion, Sigma, and Lifeweaver have to be my favorite skins.
I like the overall Eldritch-Horror-Theme and I instantly bought the Sigma- and Lifeweaver-Skin. Also tried out the new Game Mode "Cosmic Crisis" and even if it´s not a long one (depending on the difficulty) I also like the idea of it and especially that one player can chooose how to behave which in the end changes how the game is played.

Seems like Blizzard is shifting to putting the bulk of original skins into the battle pass and season bundle, and attempting to make the shop skins more about re-colors. I hope this trend continues and increases.
Now THIS is a Mythic skin, actually surprised with the no mask option too, looks so cool!

I've been noticing that each Battle Pass has little hints for future ones. There were a few tentacle and eye items in past BPs, now there's a lot of circus items including the Ringmaster Winton skin. I'm willing to bet we'll see a circus theme sometime down the road 🎪
Interesting theory. Maybe the Reaper- and Lucio-Skin from last season are hints for an upcoming Biohazard/Apocalyptic-Theme which I personally would like to see.
Pharah emote looks like egyptian hieroglyphics, and coincidentally at Blizzcon egyptian mythology was a season theme they said would be coming in 2024 (eldritch horror was there too)
@@leftykouts4121 I looked it up and it´s actually a free-style dance-move street-dancers often use. But I also thought at first if it´s supposed to be an Egyptian-Dance.
I'm fairly sure the Yellow version of Moira's mythic skin is meant to reference the elder god commonly addressed as "The King in Yellow" first brought up in the short story of the same name. The symbols on the robe might be a warped reference to his elder sign.
Also her skin design is really cool

It worries me that there are 0 original legendary skins in the hero gallery for the shop aside from the reaper, sig, and LW skins
I really disagree with recolours costing 20 bucks (of skins that were made in overwatch 1). Also if you own the original, i think it should be 500 ow credits max or even less to buy the recoloured one.

It´s the same like with his Islander-Skins. But I have to admit that I thought at first this skin is going to be an epic one.

The shop skins are so lazy this season. Only Lifeweaver is the worthy one. We all talk about Mercy always have new skin but then it's actually Widowmaker who always get some new skins 😅
Blizzard still being lazy AF! Only 4 new Skins in the shop but therefore 5.000 recolours no one wants, the valentine's reaper bundle costing as much as the hanzo one but beeing worth way less, no skin earnable thru the event, no new map and there isn't even a starterpack this time!
If I had a nickel for every Overwatch skin that has some weird body part coming out of the eye holes I'd have two nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened two times

its not about low effort, its about creativity. sombra's hacking highlight its basic but imo the best in the game, matches her so well and its so fun to see it. nowadays they're like "this characters shoots a lot, make them shooting with the camera spinning", "this character is (personality trait), so make them (simple action related to it)"

I have a question: where is maestro victory pose for sig?
When u go into sig and select filters for unowned items, you can see the new victory pose is available in the battle pass... But I've looked thru it all and couldn't find it anywhere. Should the ticket for blizz support be done about this? lol

What’s weird is that there’s a maestro victory pose for sigma that’s listed as part of the battle pass, yet it’s not actually in there. Could hint at a shop release for the maestro skin.

As a Bap and Brigette main i appreciate the subtle call out of Blizzard on how they ignore them completely.

The way no one said anything about thow they are no longer making skins for new characters that can be bought with the free coins. Specially since Mauga has none and also his bundle skin is only available for premium currency

i have a question. About the new kiriko skin, will be added when the shop resets or is it random to get it in your shop? Currently i have the witch skin but when the shop resets will it give me the option to buy the sakura skin or not?
It will 100% be in next shop rotation (all new skins are added to the shop)
@@ivanchik667 hello thank you for responding. The shop refhreshed and it sitll shows me the old skins it was showing be before in the just for you section. Do I have to do something specific so it apperas or do i just wait? Is there like a daily refresh of the shop im not aware of?
@@oofboom1227 I'm talking about "global" refresh, not daily. Open Shop and look at the top right corner, there is an inscription "Shop refreshes in 5 days" or something like that. New Kiriko skin should appear after Reaper and Hanzo skins.

They robbed us a Skin this season. In Tier 1, there is either 2 skins instantly unlocked or a skin an a new hero.

You can buy the Sigma-Skin in the Hero-Gallery for 1900 coins.
Im more shocked jq hasnt gotten a skin since shes gotten the second most behind kiriko and not mercy.

they just said they are "working on it" and that they have no details yet. (they said this at blizzcon)
they haven't given us any details of how exactly it's going to work, and when it will be out. as someone who is dying to get amaterasu kiri and cyberdemon genji i am extremely disappointed they are taking so long to implement something that is a no brainer and shouldn't take long at all to add to the game.

Bro I really think you should try to reignite the passion that caused you to create an overwatch RUclips channel all those years ago. It seems as though you've fallen into the trap of always taking the shortest road to your destination. While I'm sure that the success, the views, the raid sponsorships were all gratifying in the short term, there has to be those times where you look back on the road you've taken and wonder what was awaiting you had you taken the road less traveled. Overwatch is a fun game and to make a living by playing it would be nothing short of a dream come true for many; however, in pursuit of that dream you've diluted that dream with endless small concessions and compromises until what originally made the dream seem so appealing was washed away. I know it may seem daunting from your position, but with the following you have you can pivot your content to whatever you want as long as you have the passion

This update made me quit overwatch after years of being a fan. I just want 2-2-2 back, not a complete rework of 5v5.
