I’ve been trying to find a lighter pair for consoles but every pair I buy cracks in the headband. The plastic they all use tends to be terrible 😢

Hey Sarae, I forgot to reply to your question on your last video, so my apologies... I wasn't trying to ghost you! Good choice on the PC38X, and I agree the mic is there mostly to have it for convenience. None of my headphones have a boom mic, but my gaming buddy uses her boom mic all the time. The PC38X are not high impedance, but in my experience, Sennheiser's require a little bit of extra power. Some people use an external amp to boost power. Noise cancellation for the headphones is passive (relies on insulation), and noise cancellation for the microphone is also passive (relies on the mic pickup pattern to reduce background noise). Hello Sarae! I was wondering if you could tell me how much of an audio leak there is (in decibels should be fine). I'm referring to 8:05 - 9:03 in the video since I wasn't able to hear because the music over the sound being leaked. Thank you in advanced! :)
Hi thanks so much for watching. So I at 50% you do get sound leak. It depends on how loud you have your game audio. I normally play around 70% volume so there is sound leak at the level for me. I don’t know the decibels (sorry).
I’ve never tried the GSP 600 so I can’t honestly say. I’d say these probably have a wider sound compared to the 600 from what I’ve read. They have the same drivers so the main difference comes from the PC38X being open back. Thanks for watching!
