Yankee7000 from Christopher two comments above, probably to reposition the aircraft starboard side wing tip to avoid collision with any other object in the push back. The tug driver probably never did see as he should have at the start of push back.Hope this helps, have a great week.

I wonder why a push back was initiated and then aborted, pulled back and then executed….
