Hot Picks: Why now might be a good time to buy gold

Jean-Francois Tardif, Founder and portfolio Manager, Timelo Investment Management, joins BNN Bloomberg with his three picks in mining. He says the gold sector could rally in 2024 after a dismal 2023, and he adds that stocks which see pressure toward year-end bounce back in January so now is a good time to buy.

Why? It's return as an investment has been horrible. There is really no good case for it other than a short term play like currency. Anyone who held gold for the last 30 years got screwed. Give me a break.
