- A Day in Krka National Park - the beautiful Krka waterfalls, Croatia in 4K
Krka National Park is one of Croatia's best places to visit. It lies about 10km inland from Sibenik in Dalmatia region. Named after the Krka River, the Park covers an area of just over 109 square km. The park has a lush green vegetation, a wide variety of flora and fauna and amazing waterfalls with clear turquoise waters. There is a tourist path that leads visitors easily throughout the park.
The top attraction of the Krka National Park is its magnificent waterfalls, including the famous Skradinski Buk , the largest and most popular waterfall. Other highlights include the small island of Visovac and Roski Slap waterfall.
Krka NP is easily reachable from almost anywhere by public transport. You can buy your transport and entry ticket online or at the ticket office in Skradin where most buses are arriving.
From there you also buy the boat ticket for a 30 min boat ride to get to the park.

Thank you for your comment! I'm not very competent, but you can visit Plitvice NP, which is very impressive. Biokovo mountain that I saw in Makarska is also very impressive and I know there are some hiking trails and guided hiking tours. Inquire about the Croatian islands, they also have some hiking opportunities.

I was last year.. Lovely places..I loved so much... this year i will going again... Last year I started from Zadar/Split/Dubrovnik...this year I will start from Primosten/Split.

I prefer to buy tickets in advance online in order to avoid lines. Only the boat ticket I couldn't buy online so I bought it on the spot. Enjoy your trip:)

Whatever you choose it will be right. Both places are beautiful. I had the same dilemma and chose Krka, because of the waterfalls and it’s easy to navigate through the park
I’d choose Plivitc lake. Been to both.
