But after seeing there are plenty of people who do actually care about me, I learned that people do feel bad for me, and my depressed impression I have on people makes them dislike me more. Now I know, if people don't like me or want to tell me something like that, they are wrong and I can live my life to the fullest and spread the word they're wrong. And if they want to keep tormenting me then I will seize my moment and knock them out. If they have a right to be happy, I have a right to be happy.

I hate that this song has become an anthem for the abuse of drugs, particularly marijuana. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy marijuana and I smoke it regularly (I also dabble with other recreational drugs), but please, people, detach the concept from this song or at least mediate its influence. I'm not oblivious to the fact that this song is, more or less, an overt endorsement of recreational drug use but it can be viewed from a diverse array of angles. Cudi also wrote it to help us delve into our minds and wrestle with our emotions, aspirations, yearnings, feelings, experiences, outlook, opinions, our consciousness and the very soul that exists within us.
This is such a beautiful song. I can't adequately describe the rush of emotions that course through my mind and body when I hear it. The lyrics are as calming as they are energetic, as profane as they are poetic and as haunting as they are endearing.
It's as if Kid Cudi was able to mysteriously creep into my brain during the song writing process and effectively reflect the fragmented and oftentimes maddening experiences and feelings I have. This song seems to be the epitome of the essence of my mind. I wish I could describe it accurately and convey it effectively enough for you readers to grasp sense of its impact, but I doubt anything I say will do it justice.
Not to mention, this beat is amazing enough to take me on a ride equivalent to that of a drug trip. This song will forever be a timeless gem.
