Recently I've been getting weird bladder pressure sensations like a UTI but I got checked for a UTI and I don't have one. Everytime I google it, I come across the word cytoscopy and I literally wanna die. That's honestly one of the worst things I could ever think of doing. The fear of it is making me stay put and deal with the occasional discomfort. I'm only 23. So yeah, I definitely relate to the part about being young and doing health check ups that we shouldn't have to worry about yet.
I understand the topic of being too young for certain things. I was 18 when I was diagnosed with severe ulcerative colitis. Next thing I know, I'm 19, had my entire large intestine removed, and had an ostomy bag for about 3 years. After that, and coming quite close to death, I recovered enough for the J pouch surgery. I've been going strong for a few years now, I'm 27 and have so many experiences and stories I never thought I'd have. Going back to the "too young topic", the doctor that diagnosed me called it "young persons disease". Apparently almost everyone who gets UC gets it young.
