I don’t usually comment but DANG this is a nice piece
Wow, thank you very much!
@@matclasensax hey so im a producer and I was wondering if it would be fine to use this as a song and possibly release it? ive already wrote it on piano and bass and put into logic with some latin drums if you'd like to hear?
@@gabrielrosales7218 Hey Gabriel, I would definately like to hear it. You can email me at mat@matclasen.de best regards, Mat
@@matclasensax it told me the email wasn't valid but I sent anyways, let me know if you got it please
@@gabrielrosales7218 Thank you for the information. The email adress is valid, I didn't receive yours, though. You might try matthias_clasen@yahoo.de maybe that will work.
This is amazing! I am going to arrange this for jazz ensemble and have my school’s jazz band play it.
I’m performing this piece for a concert in my high school! I love it👍🏽
Great! I am happy to hear that. Have fun!
I don't know anything about music, let alone Sax, but this piece is amazing. It has been on repeat for past 2 hours while I'm working. Thank you !!
Wow, that feels good to read! Thanks ❤
Fr the most fire beat too underrated
Beautiful
Thank you, glad you like it!
@@matclasensax also thank you for the ❤
Love it! 🎷🎷🎷🎷 Nicely crafted arrangement, and of course you would have a wonderful actual instruments version to hear it (ie., not a lifeless MIDI playback). 🙂 I may have to pick up this arrangement from you in the near future.
Wow, thank you for your comment! 🙂🙂🙂
@@matclasensaxit's a really cool piece! can you make a piano reduction out of it? I'd like to play it, and I ain't playin no sax. If you did it in Sibelius or Finale or any other program it should be relatively easy to make the piano reduction.... Thanks in advance
@@grgaperos Hey, thanks! You can get a piano reduction / leadsheet here: www.matclasen.de/en/product/green-bossa-leadsheets-und-pianostimme-pdf-download/ Is it this, what you need? Best regards, Mat
I like how it almost sounds like the Bari Sax/ player is bored and goofing off while the other three try to keep it in line, wrangling it back in occasionally. At least, thats what I hear.
😀
Love it!
genial, ya lo reescribi
Superduper nice
Gefällt mir
Groovyyy
Nice Stuff.
Thank you!
Glückwunsch! Great!
Danke, freut mich!
Is this on Apple Music or Spotify by chance?
Hi, I haven't yet thought of uploading it to download or streaming portals. Maybe in the future I will.
Nice version of Monti’s Czardas
I haven‘t heard the Czardas in the song before. Actually it‘s an original by me.
I bought the parts but I can not find the second pages
I will take care of it!
I just sent you an email. Did that solve the problem?

You might try to make the alto and tenor part more interesting. Seems like they would fall asleep.
Hey Radjammin, thanks for listening to the tune and for your comment! I understand your point. Nonetheless I would like to point out, that this arrangement of Green Bossa is written as a soprano saxophone feature. Other songs I wrote may and do feature other players or distribute the melodies more evenly amongst the ensemble. I don‘t understand, though, why one would fall asleep, being part of a group playing music. Every part is equally important and one should put every bit of focus and meaning into every note being played, no matter if it makes the player shine or his or her colleagues. I recorded all the saxophones in this video and I didn‘t get bored. I find the alto and tenor sax parts challenging to play groovy, easy, expressive and softly at the same time. Having meaning yet not standing in the way of the melody. That needed all of my concentration, no room for boredom. If I get bored playing music, I have to change my mindset or do something else with my life. Playing in an ensemble is never about one person. Either all of you sound great or all of you sound asleep, there is nothing inbetween!
Hört sich an wie im Blut. Im Land gelebt?
Danke! Leider nicht..
@@matclasensax dann SCHNELL los! 😉
