Hints of aurora borealis on the evening of 3 March 2024 over Lancashire, UK

The aurora borealis (northern lights) was visible across much of the UK on the evening of 3 March 2024, after a large geomagnetic storm earlier in the day. Here in Lancashire, I set my time-lapse camera up facing north and some faint glimmers were caught around 19:30, 20:10 and again just before midnight.

Wow! They're pretty faint to the camera but I could make out some green and pinkish-red hues. Bet they looked spectacular in real life
