This is one of the best interviews you've done, Danica. As someone who's become disillusioned with the Republican party I can identify with much Tulsi has said. It seems both political parties have entered the realm of crazy town. The principles laid down by the founding fathers have been betrayed by BOTH parties, and I fear there may not be any coming back. I'd like to think that the rot in DC hasn't set in too deep, but I think it may take an existential threat to the nation as a whole to wake people up. As for now, I plan on voting purple in the coming election. Neither political party is getting all of my votes. At this point gridlock is good.

What if the parties that received the money, were forced to distribute the money equally amongst the congressman of those parties. That way it can go towards a party, but also puts the money into congress’s hands so they are not held hostage by their party? This would also teach them some financial responsibility because they would all receive the same amount of funding and one congressman couldn’t be favored over the other one. Obviously there are other ways for them to receive money, but I think this could be a good start and help free up some of the congressman who are wanting to vote on what they think is best, rather than what their party wants them to.

This is what I loved and miss most about being a soldier. As a soldier if you are going to succeed in the military, no one can look upon one's fellow soldiers as Black American, White American, Latino American or Asian American. We are American Soldiers, and we don't just fight for you the American people, we fight for each other because we are all brother and sister Americans. My biggest beef with the Democrats as a soldier is they love to get us into wars but will do everything possible to keep us from winning.

100 agree with Tulsi's encouragement to ask questions, my question is How do we actually believe that our vote is being counted? Voting issues creep up every election...what are we doing about campaign and voting reform?

This is what I loved and miss most about being a soldier. As a soldier if you are going to succeed in the military, no one can look upon one's fellow soldiers as Black American, White American, Latino American or Asian American. We are American Soldiers, and we don't just fight for you the American people, we fight for each other because we are all brother and sister Americans. My biggest beef with the Democrats as a soldier is they love to get us into wars but will do everything possible to keep us from winning.

Actually, she was kicked out by anti-American democrats. She wasn't communist enough.. She didn't see a need for the country to have a "fundamental change."
