But it's a shame because those who actually got their jobs through NSSB are struggling big time-they're not getting paid on time, and some are months behind on salaries. Same condition for SSA teachers. Meanwhile, those who got their jobs through shady ways are living it up with all the perks.
Teachers appointed through exams are not getting regular salary but backdoor appointees are getting regular salary. First provide regular salary and then deduction should be made if found absent.
This is a good effort in the right direction. Appreciated the initiative and effort of Education department led by the Advisor, Sir Yhome. The same yard stick should be applied to all the other departments also, there are government employees who don't go to office and engaged themselves in lucrative business(sidepart), thus enjoying double benefits while depriving the unemployed who should be getting the opportunity. This is happening in the intellectual and professional level also. The government should come up with strict directives.
While congratulating Sir in this great initiative, I hope and pray that the main agenda is not for deducting only teacher salaries but also provide a fair and ample scope for teachers capacity building and its well being, that at the end of the day it may benefit all the stakeholders and also apply the same yardsticks to all, irrespective of any ranks. Also focus on teachers transfers such as rationalisation of teachers. For example, the Punjab education department implemented a rationalisation plan that specified the number of teachers required for different school sizes unlike our poor state that have excess of teachers only in Dimapur and Kohima whereby depriving many schools without sufficient teachers in many far flung places.. Hoping for a positive changes in the days to come🙏
Before deduction of salary sir, please check the salaries pattern of the teachers. Some are getting fixed salaries that too after a gap of two to three months where as some teachers are getting nearly a lakh every month.Before implementing TAMS it will be wise on the part of the government to implement EQUAL PAY FOR EQUAL WORK.
What I have seen in my life till now is, those teachers who put their hardwork, full might, and seriously does their job, their children use to be so successful in many fields. I was told by someone who is a teacher (himself/herself) that this SMILE APP is not functional in iPhone so some people deliberately take advantage of this since the authority is not being strict still I believe. But honestly, since I'm not a teacher nor uses iPhone so I cannot say I can prove his/her claim.

TAMs only for teachers of Nagaland state.. I don't think the teachers community are the only govt. employees who received govt. salary. Hon' ble advisor is coming up with brilliant idea. But before the idea is applied to the schools or for that matter to various departments, it must start first from Secretariat and directorate levels because the habit of employees irregularities starts from there only. What the government employees are doing at district, town and village levels is a replica of the Secretariat and directorates of various departments.
Please provide alternative gadgets but not from teachers personnel cell phone. When gone wrong to phone or damage we are finding so hard to replace phone on time being in the remotest part of Nagaland. And release all the dues of teachers which is still pending.
This should be applicable in all departments. Also please monitor female employees. They'll get pregnant and stop coming to work for years and the men have to do their share of the work lauda. I'm not saying all women but there are many like that. We're getting paid the same but men do most of the heavy lifting.

It will be hard to implement the smile app i guess. though the network is there, sometime it take an hour or even till noon couldn't mark our attendance, sometimes happen to be no current for 2,3 days n with no battery we couldn't mark our attendance, sometimes phone lose, phone proble there are lots of issue.. only teachers will know.
Give equal salary to every employees regularly and do whatever you want to do. And why check only education department? It's so disheartening to see the partiality being given to some batch of teachers who work like donkey and give good results but are not paid on time, that too their salary being on fixed as compared to Adhoc (backdoor) teachers in the state. Some govt. Teachers are feeling bad but, they should know that we also have these kind of system in technical departments. Where we visit all places and villages in Nagaland's rasta biya compromising our health doing our work from morning till late evening, Geo-tagging pictures of our work, submitting to the govt. step by step pictures & videos of our work as proof, media coverage and press release, when we go bosti to bosti for our survey and field work. All as proof that we did our work.. Then after that we get back and submit all minute datas of the beneficiaries to all required sites, central or state govt. The higher ups and govt then gets in touch with the beneficiaries. These are all attendance and monitoring of our work. And yes we also get monitored from time to time by different teams . For teachers they have a classroom not travel like us in bad roads . If they are sincere why fear about attendance? It's not like govt. Is not giving you leave when you are sick.
No mechanism is 100 % proof I wish all other employees too is required equal treatment sense all the employees get salaries. Changes every now n then makes teachers more complicated some time they spend Class time in fulfilling the requirements. So unless n until a teachers is encourage n also understand the responsibility no measure can let teachers change his or her mind to perform good duty

It will be hard to implement the smile app i guess. though the network is there, sometime it take an hour or even till noon couldn't mark our attendance, sometimes happen to be no current for 2,3 days n with no battery we couldn't mark our attendance, sometimes phone lose, phone proble there are lots of issue.. only teachers will know.
Give equal salary to every employees regularly and do whatever you want to do. And why check only education department?
It's so disheartening to see the partiality being given to some batch of teachers who work like donkey and give good results but are not paid on time, that too their salary being on fixed as compared to Adhoc (backdoor) teachers in the state. Sir Yhome.. I know you will stand for what is right and discard all the ill practices.

Some govt. Teachers are feeling bad but, they should know that we also have these kind of system in technical departments. Where we visit all places and villages in Nagaland's rasta biya compromising our health doing our work from morning till late evening, Geo-tagging pictures of our work, submitting to the govt. step by step pictures & videos of our work as proof, media coverage and press release, when we go bosti to bosti for our survey and field work. All as proof that we did our work..
Then after that we get back and submit all minute datas of the beneficiaries to all required sites, central or state govt.
The higher ups and govt then gets in touch with the beneficiaries.
These are all attendance and monitoring of our work. And yes we also get monitored from time to time by different teams .
For teachers they have a classroom not travel like us in bad roads . If they are sincere why fear about attendance? It's not like govt. Is not giving you leave when you are sick.

No mechanism is 100 % proof I wish all other employees too is required equal treatment sense all the employees get salaries. Changes every now n then makes teachers more complicated some time they spend Class time in fulfilling the requirements. So unless n until a teachers is encourage n also understand the responsibility no measure can let teachers change his or her mind to perform good duty
