Is a product feed different from a PIM? If so, how?

Great question Jairo! Yes, a PIM and a product feed are two different things, but they go hand in hand, and most PIM software have features to help create product feeds. Think of it like a cell phone; traditionally a cell phone's main job is to be able to call on the go, but most cell phones today can also surf the internet (and let's be honest-unless you're intentionally trying to stay off the grid, chances are you wouldn't buy a cell phone that didn't let you surf the internet, right?).
A PIM tool's main job is to create a central source of truth for all your product data so you're not wasting time tracking down or updating data across different spreadsheets and systems. Taking that accurate data and creating feeds for different channels is another common time-consuming task, so a good PIM system will have features to automate that process for you. Hope this answers your question 😄
