Not as near in this, rather flawed video (sadly so) compared to reality. Going over the bridges and not stopping in the middle of one of the bridges to record the view on the river and river banks below is really a shame.

You can see the whole place in an hour - I stayed for 3 days but that was because it was nice to chill out there - plus there are a fair amount of day trips to do from there.
I was several times there, you need to see the gypsy market, the mig underground bunker (also a garbage deponie by locals) the Derwish Monastry Blagaj, the Stepan Herzeg Castle above Blagaj. The Austrian Castles for Artillerie testing between Blagaj and Mostar. The Croatian Market, Bruce Lee Monument. Restaurants with Live Musik, never ending Weddings with the greatest food and traditions and Kravice Waterfalls. They have also a place to Boulder and a boxing club for sporty people. I suggest mountainbiking only for suicidal people they stay on track and rather kill you with their fucking golf 2 even tough there is no other car on the road they dont care!)

Sarajevo i nije nesto lijep grad, osim Starog dijela. Hrpa nebodera zakrcenih smogom i nije neka ljepota.

Sarajevo je mali Jeruzalem, Sarajevo je naj veći muslimanski Grad u Europi ima najveću i naj stariju djamiju u Europi u Sarajevu je počeo prvi svjedsko rat Sarajevo imo puno potenziala jer je poseban grad ...

Thanks man! I read extensively about Bosnia but never had the opportunity to see it. Mostar, a city in Herzeg-Bona region, scuffed from the destruction of its social fabric during the 1992-1995 war. The old Ottoman bridge "Stari most" going back to sixteenth century, was destroyed by Croatian forces in 1993. Glad to see that the bridge was rebuilt and the city modernized, hoping that the social harmony will be restored too.

I also have a photo from 2012 when Mostar had almost 60cm of snow in one night. It really did look like Skyrim at that time.
@@libertas5005 2012 was the snowiest winter i have ever experienced in the Balkans. Bosnia, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Albania were all buried under snow
It seems like more of a running tour, 20 minutes into the video and he has never looked out to see the river from the bridges. It goes so fast in some parts that you can't appreciate what's on the sides.
You walked across that bridge twice without showing the surroundings or the water!! Great camera work!! NOTTTTTTT !!!
Mostar is pretty but you walk through the historic part in 30 minutes. You need max 2 days. I actually spent 4 days there but I was drunk so everything moved slower

it happened to be a bit more than the "village"; it has had its own production of helicopters and airplanes and airplane parts, for both military and civil use. It exported the parts to Boeing and McDonnell-Douglas until 1992. That was only one of the several modern industries, in the town and in its vicinity.

The funny thing is that you have picked the moment at the very street that was full of life in the early and throughout whole, and late evenings until the beginning av april 1992. Then came war, imported from other parts of the former Yugoslavia.
It has never been the same, ever since.
