Hey Kate, great video, thank you for this! I'm planning to move back to Poland from the UK and I'm torn between Krakow, Gdansk and Warsaw, maybe Wroclaw as well. The situation in the UK not so great since they left the EU. Everything seems to be going bad. Shops and businesses close everywhere but hopefully your videos will help me make a right decision. And how is the job market in Poland? How much can one make as an accountant, etc? Is it easy to find a job? If you could make a video about the job market in Poland then I'd really appreciate your efforts :) Thank you once again and have a lovely day :)

Thank you for showing us Krakow. Can you make a video on which city you'd prefer to start a family in Poland after your travelling across the country is over? )

What does an honest review mean? Obviously, it's your subjective point of view. I'm wondering why you've made a video about a Polish city in English being a Ukrainian. Why not shoot a video about Ukrainian cities in English or Ukrainian or Russian - a subject you're naturally more familiar with? Do you recommend people to move to Poland and why do you think this is your prerogative? Who's your target audience because it's hard to understand? I would be interested to learn about your personal reasons for moving to Krakow. You complain about a large number of tourists in Poland's number one tourist destination. Kind of funny. Are you a tourist yourself? I don't think so. Regarding housing prices, they are constantly going up because people, such as yourself, come to the city looking to rent a flat. And we have a deficit of one million apartments in Poland. So it's not surprising but rather frustrating. I'm just amazed that you have chosen to discuss pros and cons of living in a foreign city after just three months. By stating that your fares have not been checked on public transport trams and buses, do you encourage people NOT to buy tickets? You should probably also mention running hot water throughout the day, low level of corruption, paying of taxes, public transport running on time, sorting of household waste and, surprise surprise, rather friendly locals. There's no mention of Poles living here. When watching your video it feels like you have come here and conquered the country settling at the most convenient location after a tour of Poznan and Warsaw. This is not an honest review. I think it's biased and it contains a lot of misconceptions. I can hardly appreciate it.

Me and my content don't have to please everyone))
Who is my audience? It's about 40% of Poles who understand English on a basic or intermediate level or another part who are ready to read subtitles with Polish translation
And also about 400.000-500.000 English-speaking emigrants in Poland and all those people who are planning to come to Poland to live or travel
Someone can find out about the best places to visit in different cities and information about them. Someone can learn more about a city. I don't argue, reviews can be somewhat subjective and superficial. But nevertheless, I have not yet met an analog or better review to be structured, concise and on personal experience
I think it is better to share experiences as they are than not to share at all. Still more clarity and there are always people who will benefit from it
By the way, I have a main channel in Russian and I translate videos from it in order to reach different audiences and be useful to more people

@@lifeandtravelinPoland Of course, your content doesn't have to please everyone and it doesn't please some viewers. I can't argue with that. Your video is public so people can leave both positive and negative comments underneath. Again, my comment is not personal and it relates to your content and not to you. I have come across your film by pure chance and I disagree that Poles would be interested in reading your info about Krakow as they have more reliable sources in Polish. We are interested in content comparing life in Poland to life in Ukraine or elsewhere behind our eastern frontiers. There are many such videos by Ukrainian, Belorussian, Georgian and Russian people living in Poland but making content in Polish. We appreciate their genuine commitment to learn Polish and integrate. I cannot tell people what to publish or not but I can express my views. I just feel that when you go into sb's home and then invite other people to join you, it's not fair. This is where our mentality differs.

@@lifeandtravelinPoland Probably one of the cons of living in Krakow can be encountering some unreasonable xenophobic Ukraine-dislikers like this commenter :) I am myself a Polish person who migrated outside Poland so I see no problem seeing non-polish people living in Poland.

I like that you are running this channel but I have to say that as a Polish person myself I dislike Krakow a lot :) For the reasons that you mentioned (like air pollution) but also it's more conservative and religious than other parts of Poland. As I am really not religious, I prefer western parts of Poland
