I remember that i did a presentation of different mouse type at college, most actually shocked that theres a mega difference between them especially with gaming mouse theres variety of it. From latency, more extra buttons and sensitivity change button.

I used to use three mice: a three key, a drawing/drafting mouse, and a vertical mouse for when overusing the other two incited my carpal tunnel. Moved to an old bamboo pad instead a few years ago and couldn't be happier.

it's not unreasonable to have one mouse for chilling and one for gaming, it's just exotic. I do have an ergonomic trackball mouse that I use for work and chill (entire arm would hurt, didn't want to have RSIs), and other mouse I use exclusively for gaming
