Thanks Derek! For all of my saltwater flats fishing I use the Rio Flats Pro Stealth Tip. I really like having just that little bit of sink at the tip of my line to get it below the surface tension/any waves. I also find the clear section on the end really helpful in keeping fish from spooking. it allows me to cast a shorter leader in some of these windier conditions while maintaining a longer "invisible" section of line.
Thanks, I'm also fan of clear line. I have been fishing there last September too in perfect weather condition, we had a lot of bonefish and cudas but after watching your video I know now the place can be productive on any conditions.
I went with a guy named Slater Bootenhoff. Great guy although I'm not sure if he guides full time. The other guides down there at Nick Denbow and Rhett Schober.
Insane! That's my kind of fishing right there. Congratulations on a phenomenal fish.
Thanks Dustin! Boca Paila is insane, you should definitely go check it out if you get a chance!
That's one beast of a jack. Is it around the peninsula by the river mouth?
Great fish ! What type of fly line you used in the wave condition? Full floating or floating with intermediate tip ?

@@isaacness I went to the same spot with Slater!! Caught my first ever bonefish with at the flats at Boca this summer!
@@adosskey That's awesome Adam! Slater is a good dude and knows the fishing there well.
Isnt this place known for crocadiles?
Good question, Ive never heard that before but there was a small crocodile near the bridge when I was there
It is. I had a pretty unpleasant experience with one of them when I was there in May. So be careful when fishing there.
I'd like to hear your crocodile story, I'm moving to the area and plan on doing allot of wade fishing. Thanks@@themaskedfisherman8596
Yeah!!!!
Thanks!
