Thank you Rochelle! I think I was born an optimist. I always try to look on the bright side and I can laugh about anything. I have had a hard life and it made me a strong person so I don't let anything bring me down because I know it could always be worse. I also have adhd which gives me the super power of extra energy and endless ideas.

I often laugh with my son at Goodwill! So many “treasures!” And sometimes, we laugh even harder at the pricing! But I did see one of my RUclipsrs actually think something was priced too high for what it was, but then they looked it up and it was actually something! So, while I doubt the things I’m laughing at fall into that category, I’ll think twice!

Oh my gosh! I’ve never seen anyone before that knows about Paxton! My family lived there for 6 months back in the 80’s. We were a military family and didn’t want to live on the base. Paxton was so small then. I’ll never forget it and have some fond memories of 4th grade! We loved on Pells St kind of across from the grocery store and near the bank. My best friend was a local and we lost touch. We used to walk to the Arcade for burgers. ❤️

I've bought crocks without lids before and simply cut a round out of wood and put a cute drawer pull, or finnial, or big bead on top. Then paint or stain or just wax the round and POOF! You have a cute lid! ❤😊

I just wanted to say that when I first saw your channel, I thought oh well, another Thrifting video which I do love, but I’m getting to the point where I have vicariously shopped to my hearts content. Ha ha ha but within a minute or two your commentary and the way you thrift and then show what you do to them and then show more shopping and then show your makeovers and how you style them completely won me over and changed my mind. I love shopping along with you your commentary is so fun brings me joy and makes me laugh. And you have a great eye for makeovers and styling. I love love love your videos. Thanks for bringing joy to my day every time I watch.

Ok.. you got me with the screaming bird😂 Of Course, being a lamp lover, i think that one is so unique & beautiful! I would probably rub some antique wax on it to make it look older, its a bit too gold for me personally. The ballerina is gorgeous!❤ Old photos of any kind are my favorite art pieces to collect. I speed to nice ones this weekend, one was a really old antique my MIL inherited, she's got quite a few more I'm storage she's giving me😁stoked!! Love the green wine bottle candle holders, so unique! I personally like the huge metal vase as is, it would probably be pretty painted white and distressed too. I just wouldn't paint if i were keeping it. Love that Fleur- de-lis sign! Leave the big black candle holder as is!! The red hydrangeas are stunning❤ I know the DIY's from this awesome haul are going to be the best, excited to see!!

That is an impressive shopping experience. I love the pair of lamps, the large picture and the rose frame. Those vases are so big, I can't imagine decorating with them, but I'm sure they will be perfect for someone. You do such a nice job of reworking, restoring, repurposing etc. I enjoy seeing your take on things and I have to admit, there are times I never would have thought to do what you did but find myself really liking it. Your garage looks like it's harboring some great items. Yes, it's work, it's also security and it's fun to see the end results. I don't do this type of work anymore, but I enjoy watching your process and finished product.

I always keep in mind that every thrift flipper probably has a storage, shed, attic or room with stuff they need to flip. I have all of the above.
Only thing is I pay about $95 a month for a storage.
I also need a booth to sell some of my finished stuff.
Haha yes! I hope you get some space at home to store it so you don't have to pay for storage. I know lots of people who use storage sheds though!
Yes, def paint the top of the candlestick in a matte finish to match the bottom. I'm not fond of glossy either. The large print was beautiful and I love the stand to showcase artwork. Great haul.

Nice haul...btw, you can paint mats in picture frames...use chalk paint ...I didn't care for the burgundy mat in the 3 floral print frame..you can also paint lamp shades and spray paint florals..I'm sure you'll make it all beautiful

Somehow, I missed seeing your ugly duckling dresser from a year ago. I just saw it today. A little over nine minutes into it I thought Wicked! Even when I saw the red shoes I was sure I was right. When you said Wizard of Oz I laughed out loud. You may not realize it if you hadn’t seen the musical, but that dresser was much more Wicked than Wizard of Oz. And trust me that’s a big compliment.

Good haul my carport looks like your garage & I don't sell I redo stuff decopodged paint and just keep it & use Some of it in my house but I'm running out of space ! if someone sees something they I give it to them ! Great finds! I would leave those items unpainted first and see if they sale. If not, you can always go back and paint them later. I can’t believe that lamp you got with the candles! And that frame with the roses - so pretty.

Don't paint the English silver bowl u will lose value. Also don't pain't the black two tone vase either looks unusual as it is. The big gold frame should not be painted either, lose value by doing that.
Surprisingly, painted things sell faster and for more money than the originals

Painting the silver tray is a huge mistake! You devalue it when you do that! There is no need to paint everything!
When they are very scratched and damaged they have already lost their value. If I paint it, it will sell like hotcakes. If I try and sell it as is, it would never sell.
