Jacob Lindgren SAME. Debbie is so dumb now but she used to be my favorite. Carl is a bad ass, Lip is always great, and I love Ian, mostly because I love Mickey lol.

I've seen both the US and UK versions of the pilot, the lines and actions were pretty much the same but there is no way to describe how different they are. The way they were filmed and the mannerisms. Noticed it in both versions of The Office, too
I love both the UK and the US versions equally. The US version started to move in a few new directions and really is different by the end of season 2. Both versions are awesomely unique and entertaining in their own ways.

Also announced that there will be two nw recurring characters! 1 who is a 20 year old guy who helps guide Debbie in some way, and a 15 year old who also guides Debbie! Also, if you haven't heard, the show announced online that Justin Chatwin (Jimmy/Steve) was killed of the show! So he left... But I'm glad I can help with your question!
It thought this was going to be annoying to watch because it's from so long ago, but it was actually just a huge flashback to the real show I truly loved.

I've watched the UK show via torrents since it first aired and it was my first British tv experience. I was a fan long before the US version came about and I was even a bit skeptical about the remake until I watched it. so if anything I watched the US version with a bias opinion rather then the UK version. i love both versions but the US remake does a great job of fixing the mistakes the UK original made.
I'm a Brit, but I actually really enjoy the American version. They both work. As long as they don't try and pass it off as their own (I found it odd that the UK series wasn't mentioned in any of the interviews) I have no problem with it. :)
