    For a classic winger is crossing was average. But his close control and dribbling were excellent.

    He had an academic pattern, that's why he didn't make it to top level of the game...

      Also, he did not have great control of his left leg, he was not a great finisher, nor did he contribute much defensively. He was a pure winger, to play close to the wing; In that he was on par with the best of his time, but he was a player for a role that was too specific, and without enough scoring contribution to be a starter on a truly top team.
      A great player, anyway. In his lifelong team, Betis, he is a true legend.
