Ask your vet what she suggests for a first aid emergency kit for goats. You can get a dog blanket that looks like a horse blanket. Prayers for Harry. Y’all are doing a great job with your animals.
Definitely prepare yourself a first aid kit for the goats, I have one for all my critters, actually a cupboard full, different antibiotics, drenches, dewormers, probiotic paste, bloat remedy, needles, syringes, pill gun, copper boluses, electrolytes. This will help you in the long run, make sure you vaccinate the babies with CDT and the adults yearly too.
I'm thinking you might want to try giving him a bottle - maybe some powdered goat milk mix.

Goats don't have a strong will to live, but most of us would do exactly what you did. We do everything we can for the animals in our care.

You might want to watch for the tail dropping down and staying down in the others. That is typically one of the first signs in a sick goat

I slept in the paddock with one of my goats for a night keeping her warm with my coat and blankets. She had mastitis, but she recovered after lots of tlc. Well done with Larry.

I am so happy to see him feeling somewhat better! I felt so bad for him just standing there by the fence and looking like he was just feeling so sick. I was so glad you got him into the vet and I’ll be sending prayers and good wishes he will feel better soon! And, I would have done the same thing by making sure vet knew how bad he needed to be seen! I think the antibiotics made a huge difference in getting him started on the road to recovery!! 🐐 ❤️💕❤️ 30:45
