It's been 2 years and I still come back to this vid. This first vergil segment along with the music just evokes emotions and a sense of dept that nothing else has. It really is art. You made something special here Delusionary :)
I usually come back to this for the sickass gameplay and improvised ecostyle in the 5 Dante segment, but since BeeG just released his DMC3 DT combo video I was curious to watch some footage and I have a question cuz it's still pretty confusing. At 3:15 you do High Time, Rave, Shotgun JC, Helm Breaker, Whirlwhind, High Time To my understanding the first high time wipes the slate clean. You start at 0 stun, 0 displacement again. Rave should bring it to 12 s/0 d Shotgun to 12 s/26 d Helm Breaker 24 s/ 38 d And then whirlwind to 36 s / 50 d With only High Time then breaking the displacement value ... Unless I misunderstood that table, and shotgun deals 26 s/ 26 d instead of just d... In that case it'd be Rave 12 s/0 d Shotgun 38 s/26 d Helm Breaker 50 s/ 38 d Whirlwind to 62! s / 50 d (stun launch) High Time 12 s / 62! d (displacement launch)? Which I guess would make sense.. EDIT: Hold on, I only just now realized that there was no Air Rave at all and I just imagined it for some reason. Now I'm even more confused lmao
The sequence is Shotgun - Helmbreaker - Whirlwind - Hightime The added math is: 26s 26d [Shotgun] 38s 36d [Helmbreaker first hit] 70s(?) 48d [Whirlwind] (i forgot whirlwind's exact stun values, probably depends on how it hits too? dunno been ages) 12s 60d[Hightime]
@@Astheniumn Oh okay. That table that was linked showed Whirldwind only having 12d, so I figured the stun would be the same. But I guess either that attack is another one of those weird ones with differing s and d, or it might just have multiple hits, and I forgot Thanks for clearing things up in any case
this is fantastic gameplay. It's always nice to see what people can really do in this game.

Definetely my favorite entry of all categories jo. This made me appreciate combo creation as an art form.

@@DestinySpider whirlwind has 2 hits, the first has 16s 0d, second has 16s 12d.
