  • It's easy to print from your iPad using the DNP WCM Plus and Booth.Events. In this video we'll walk through setting up the connections / hardware, configuring the WCM Plus for the first time including setting up a 4x4 (square) print size, and adding the printer to the Booth.Events app so that we don't get the annoying iOS print popup each time a guest prints their creation. Here's the help article that walks you through this whole process: help.booth.events/article/38-...
Booth.Events is a photo booth platform for pros and DIYers that's free for your first 3 events. Connect your Canon, Nikon, or Sony camera without any extra hardware. It has email, text / SMS sharing, online galleries, automatic background removal / green screen, printing, branding, white-labeling, bluetooth LED support, custom audio support and more - all the features you'd expect from an app that your business depends upon. Get started today: booth.events
Our iOS app runs on your iPad or iPhone. It's easier to use, faster, and more reliable than the competition. Photos, slowmos, boomerangs, GIFs, and videos with sound are all supported. We work with older versions of iOS too so you don't have to have the newest Apple devices. You can skin the entire app with your logo, wordmark, colours, and even change the app's backgrounds & button icons. With this level of customizability you can get your business brand to stand out which is what you need for referrals.
Not running the booth as a business? No problem, Booth.Events is perfect for all kinds of non-profits, charities, and DIY parties from your homecoming / prom to the party you're organizing for your boss. With our help articles at help.booth.events and our videos you can easily learn everything you need to setup the photo booth and get your guests having a great time.

Can this same method be used with the wcm2? And if so.. would this speed up printing time? I’m finding a long delay between pressing print and the printer firing up when wireless

For the part where you used your computer, do I have to use a mac to configure or can I do it on my windows laptop?

You can use any computer including windows, so long as it has a modern web browser - ie. no internet explorer from 12 years ago!

USB-C hubs have power-in (also via USB-C) so that the iPad stays charging/plugged in. Please see our recommended hardware page for the hub we recommend: help.booth.events/article/71-our-recommended-hardware

Hi, if you’re at an event where there is no wifi, but your ipad has cellular service, how would you print using the WCM plus? (Without wifi, but hard wired with ethernet and with cellular data).

Yes you can! You can also have a DSLR/USB camera connected at the same time. You do this with a USB-C hub that has power in (to charge the ipad), with a USB-C iPad. Please see our Recommended Hardware page, here: help.booth.events/article/71-our-recommended-hardware

I do not think the WCM2 supports wired printing like this. We recommend upgrading to the WCM Plus which does support it. Please contact DNP to be sure!

Yes I believe the WCM2 does support this but you can check with DNP to be sure. However, the spooling that happens on the WCM2 unit itself is what's slow, so this might not speed things up much at all. You're better off looking at the WCM Plus which is a LOT faster
