IPAdapter v2: all the new features!

- I updated the IPAdapter extension for ComfyUI. It's a complete code rewrite so unfortunately the old workflows are not compatible anymore and need to be rebuilt. Sorry about that but I don't have time to maintain old code.

My thought process: Soon as I performed the update and my old workflows broke I was frustrated for about two minutes, then realized the nodes must be updated, and in that case it must be a pretty big update if they've been reworked, I loaded the new ones and saw new inputs I didn't entirely understand yet, decided to get some rest and look forward to the excellent new video that was sure to be coming (faster than expected!). You did not disappoint sir, thanks for all the outstanding work you are doing for the community!
Lucky you lol. My thought process: Hmm whats changed? Lets update ComfyUI, Lets Update All, Lets do a reboot (lol), Lets reinstall IPAdapter, Lets install a portable version of comfy to see if it works ok there, lets go ask in random discords to see if anyone else has the issue....and then, I find out the news lol. Frustrating that I had to spend all that time this morning but as Mateo says, it can't be helped. As I have paid a grand total of Zero so far on any generative ai tools, I won't bother asking to speak to the manager lol. It happens.
"But I am a big boy so I'm using the advanced node..." - Latent Vision.

Same here, I thought I was loosing my mind sins the nodes I got are different from the ones every single video and tutorial I was able to find.

Same! In mid project red blood everywhere and ipadapter node missing. Note to self: If broken, check the repo if its uodated.
@@grafik_elefantIt's a bad habbit to click "update all" button on daily basis.
PSA: If you did not rename the clip vision model files to their names as shown in the git repo, the plug-in will complain that it can't find them.
I spent some time debuggin why the simple loader does not work. It was about the name of the clip vision model.

Thank you! By the way, the little one name is “CLIP-ViT-H-14-laion2B-s32B-b79K.safetensors”,big one is "CLIP-ViT-bigG-14-laion2B-39B-b160k.safetensors"
you would think that he would make it so that it would automatically download whatever model you need. not just for clip, but for all of them.

Thanks for this. I never used the face id version because i didnt want to kess around with the lora and now this is super easy.
There's certainly a lot of new information to take in, but it's certainly worth it. This is a big improvement over the old version.
I think I will mostly be using the tiled version, as I rarely work with perfectly square images anyways.

It's cool to see this update and I thank you for your hard work. I have a question though. What is the weight type that is equivalent to channel penalty in the previous version?

@@latentvision Wow, thanks for the quick reply. So I guess since embeds_scaling is a different input parameter, we could experiment with all combinations of weight types and embed scalings. That's so much more control.

There should be something like versioning so you can switch to a new nodes when ready or some way to have both versions installed and transition to new ones when ready to
that is totally possible with GIT! you can go back and forth between version at any time!

My comfyui seems to be hanging up on the ipadapter unified loader node. Everything i try does not seem to work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
