This video only increased my respect for Kaif, he is extremely simple and someone who believed in hard work. This guy gave us two big trophies NatWest Trophy and U19 wc. Thank you Kaif.
Kaif's delivered his best when India needed him the most, be it 2002 Champions Trophy match against Zimbabwe, 2002 Natwest Trophy Final, 2004 against Pakistan where he partnered with Dravid in a run chase. I really feel for him, he was one of my favourite players in that Indian team. Unfortunately his inconsistencies got the better of him and he could never get back into the team. Ganguly's exclusion from the team in 2005, meant the captain who had backed Kaif for so long was no longer there. So, after the 2006 series against West Indies, there was no one to fight for him even though he did well in that tournament. India had a younger Kaif in Suresh Raina who not only was an amazing fielder but also a better batsman. Raina had a great captain in Dhoni who always fought for him and supported him even when Raina underperformed a lot. Unfortunately for Kaif, Ganguly was out of the team and by the time he made his comback, Kaif was already gone. Ganguly was already a legend when he left, Kaif could have been if he had a bit more time. I really feel for the guy, for me he's the best Indian fielder of all time,
Just like how Chappell tried to make an opening batter and pacer out of a genuine swing bowler like Irrfan, same thing he did that with Kaif by trying to make the latter an out and out batter. Kaif's main strength was his fielding. Remember, a good batter may not score all the times, but a good fielder will save 15-20 runs easily matches after matches.
Mohammed kaif Ko jab bhi khelte dekha hai ....hamesha Laga hai ye Desh aur apni team ke liye Khel Raha hai .. And inki fielding ka koi jawab nahi . Aj bhi March 2004 ke Pakistan tour ke first match ke time hemang badani ke missfield ke bad boundary se catch pakadne Ko ham bhula nahi sakte.
Totally remember the ODI vs Pak in 2004 where Kaif stole the catch from the hands of Hemang Badani. And that Nick Knight run out in WC game in SOuth AFrica where Ashish Nehra took 6 wickets for 23 runs. These memories will stay in my head for the lifetime.
I felt like he stopped playing yesterday, buy it's 2006 since he played international. He was a gem of Indian fielding. He always scored 25-30 runs only by fielding.
As a fielder ,i rank you just after the jonti rhodes. You have inspired all the indians to do good in fielding.saving 30 runs with your good fielding always helps your bowlers and your team.
Mohammad kaif and fielding is deadly combination. He is not one of the best but he is the best fielder ever produced by India. So many memories connected with this man 😊 Nick knight run out Shoaib malik catch Nick knight catch Shaun pollock run out And so many dives to save runs And finally Natwest final nobody will forget. Simple gentleman 🤗
In my opinion, he is one of the best fielders in the world simply because he was dependable with his fielding skills and that is the definition of being best. If the ball went towards his direction, it was already considered saved or caught or even run-out.
Ah when he said the early morning winter games in NZ AUS, I literally got goosebumps from the memories. Those were the good ol days. I remember the players wearing white sweaters, low scoring matches and waking up at 4.30 in the morning like kaif said. Awesome days.

What an underrated player he used to be. The tandem of Kaif-Yuvraj at the point-cover region paved way for the improvisation of fielding not only in Indian cricket, but subcontinent as well. One of my most favourite Indian players... What a humble and down to earth guy... Love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
Kaif had been pretty famous in domestic circuit and u19, but the batting positions he got in international cricket b/c of the team requirements were too bad for a talent like him. And ...boy I was fan of his fielding in those days, got bruises on my elbow multiple times in gully cricket while imitating his dives. I wish, we had the opportunity to see you more at international level.
i still remember the legendary sledging he gave to Yousuf Yohanna, the guy is patriotic AF, but still literally faced the heat whenever India lost any important match, that is just sad.
Gaurav You Should Invite Pairs Like YUVI & KAIF, Viru and Gautam, Dravid and Laxman, Kumble and Harbajan, Zak and Nehra, Ganguly and Sachin..... Trust Me That Will Rock RUclips

This man made me fall in love with this Game & The Team.. I still clearly remember, that was the Day ( NatWest Final) when I was seriously watching cricket for the first time sitting with my brother, all the batsman getting out one after the other, and then come the 2 Heroes Kaifu & Yuvi... & The last 2 runs Kaifu & Zak at the nonstickers end..and that dive of Kaifu..Dada swinging his jersey off.. Dada running on to the field and jumping on Kaifu..and one after the other every Team mate jump on them... That Day I felt ..What a Game What a Team..What a Spirit... Everything about that Match ..I remember ball by ball.. Again This was the Man who made me fall in love with a Game which I once disliked.. After that, at the end of every Match, I asked myself how could I earlier hate this game.. Then I found the answer myself... The Game wanted me to love it to the most..so it scripted the NatWest Final for me to fall in Love with it... Nostalgic moment for me.. watching Kaifu ..almost in tears.. Lots of Love & Prayers for Kaifu & My Team

#yuvi and #kaif most valuable fielder India has ever produced
Being a good fielder was underrated. Kaif Sir brought the change that kids started telling I want to be a great fielder.
Simple, Honest and a wonderful human being !! Sheer pleasure to watch him, both on the field and off it. Great work team breakfast with champions to bring such legends on the show...
My favourite player for a long time dil khush kr diya iss interview ne
Because he is a Muslim, he was dropped
Best fielder ever of cricket fraternity.. Respect from me sir..🙏🙏🙏
*When I saw kaif, I remember NatWest series.!*
*Dada boy love you!*

Kaif has a perfect photogenic face, he might been a good actor too, his expressions, his laughs, his presence on screen is too soothing, I wish he had tried is hands on acting as well
I got interest to play cricket after watching Kaif's fielding,.. My childhood hero😍😍

Once up a time ur also match winner...we dnt forget that days
Bhot dhaasu fielding thi kaif ki bhai
