- Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan announced during her State of the City Address (SOCA) that the city government paid over P2 billion of the capital city's inherited debt amounting to over P17 billion.

Mayora, you should have mentioned kung ano pinagkagastusan ng hiniram na pondo, all the great projects under former Mayor Isko Moreno that is now benefitting the lives of millions of manilenos, and those projects put Manila on the map as the 34th best city in the world, thereby attracting more tourists and foreign business investments thereby contributing to the revenues of the city, plus having to meet the emergency needs of all manilenos during the pandemic. Besides, yung utang na yon ay collateralized by the funds that was to be downloaded to all LGU’s by the national gov’t through the mandanas and garcia ruling where the mandate is that LGU’s would now get a bigger share of the national treasury and that’s in the billions for each LGU like Manila. So kung tutuusin, sa umpisa pa man, me pambayad na ang Manila treasury sa inutang sa Bangko, kung baga, inadvance lang ni former Mayor Isko Moreno from the banks, yung makukuhang pondo ng Manila from the national treasury in compliance with the final and executory mandanas-garcia ruling. I understand you have to brag about your accomplishments Mayora Lacuna, but it’s much nicer if you get your facts straight and add the whole truth and background to your bragging.
