I vlogged my first ever basketball game as a cheerleader. I tried to film as much as possible, now that football season is over we start to cheer for all the basketball players!! I hope you guys enjoy watching this video.

Hey ik ga volgend jaar ook naar Amerika maar ik wil miss ook gaan cheerleaden, maar ik vroeg me af of je er ervaring voor nodig hebt en if het erg lastig is? Veel plezier nog xx

Hey mega leuk dat je volgend jaar ook gaat!!
Het verschilt heel erg per school of je ervaring nodig hebt en of je tot het team toegelaten wordt. Mijn school heeft de regel dat de coaches alle exchange studenten moeten toelaten tot hun team. Dus je hoefde niet perse ervaring te hebben in mijn geval. Zelf heb ik een turn verleden en dat helpt wel heel erg. Ik zou adviseren om de basics te oefenen thuis zoals een radslag en cheer jumps. Vraag ook zodra je je placement hebt aan je host family of zij kunnen regelen dat je het heerteam kan joinen. Verder kan je niet veel doen, het is niet echt moeilijk, het enige waar ik mee strugglede was de hoeveelheid verschillende cheers, maar uiteindelijk doe je ze zo vaak dat je ze vanzelf onthoudt. Ik hoop dat dit een beetje helpt xx

No, a cheer captain is someone who knows a lot about cheer, the school, basketball and football, and all the cheers, and because I’m an exchange student that is surely not the case with me😂
