How do you tighten the belt? I know you loosened the tensioner with that tool but without taking it apart how would I tighten the belt and how tight should it be?
I think I've found the solution to this. The tensioner should automatically adjust the belt the right amount. If your belt doesn't feel tight you probably need a new tensioner. As for how tight it should be you'll have to take your best guess.
You used the same 15 mm socket for the last 2 bolts as you did for the previous 4 bolts, but you said the torque was 73 ft-lbs instead of 46 ft-lbs !!! Those are all M10x1.5x10.9 bolts and should all be 46 ft-lbs. Using the higher torque you specified on those 2 bolts would have yielded them, 50% over recommended.

Can this job be done by remove the tire and inner fender trim to get access to the belt from underneath?
You should mention in the details this is the 3.6l not the 2.4l hybrid engine

What are the torque specs. for the 2011 Buick Regal 2.0L turbo engine belt tensioner and idler bolts?
Bruh, you really just helped me out big time!
Not a real mechanic, is there anyway to remove belt, and alternator of without removing motor mounts? I have a 2015 lacrosse.

What does the crow bar do?
Holy hell, how absurd just to replace a belt!!!
No need to go through all this. Just remove wheel liner you get access to tension pulley. I replace mine in 20 minutes
