Lindsay Buckingham was of course a member of Fleetwood Mac. He was a guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter. This was his big solo hit from the '80's.

Not only Mick Fleetwood on drums here, but Walter Egan (Magnet and Steel), and Bob Welch and Bob Weston, both from earlier versions of Fleetwood Mac.
Lindsey never uses a pick, and can shred believe it or not! One of these days, check out the live version of I'm so Afraid. It's from an outdoors concert. For an even more unbelievable performance from him, watch the live 2011 performance of Big Love. If you get into FM at all, you should check into their album Rumours. It's when they were all splitting up and cheating with various members of the band, and Stevie and Lindsey writing breakup songs to each other. It's wild, and their most creative period. If you want a real giggle, watch the TopPop version of Trouble - looks like Lindsey is high as a kite and almost falls over once or twice. He also has a physical altercation with his microphone which kept trying to fall lol! I think it was a mixture of that, his state, and the fact he didn't like to lip-sync that made it so entertaining. :D

I love this song. It's beauty for me recalls good times long gone, made bittersweet in knowing that they can only exist in memory. Sighhhh...

Oh I always liked this song! The music sounds like FleetWood. I didn’t know it was just him. I like when he plays the mandolin. Great song.

Love this song. Strange personal backstory. When it came out in 1981, it was playing on the radio, and I had just seen 'Halloween (1978)' on tv the night before. The tone of the song was a creepy accompaniment to the movie for some reason. To this day it still reminds me of 'Halloween'.

"I'd probably have to smack you" Perfect Just Jammin Just Perfect😊 I always tell people discovering new 80's music whenever you find yourself in front of a new 80's music video that seems confusing or weird just close your eyes and listen to the music and you will be Golden. It took awhile in the 80s for great videos to start coming out like one of my favorite you covered was Hall and oats "Method Of Modern Love" I loved your reaction to that Gem as well as this hidden Gem. Lindsey Buckingham was such a Vital Part of Fleet Wood Mac and then when he broke off into his solo career he came up with this awesome Heaven Sent tune. I loved how you called it butter but when I 1st heard I called it Cloud Gathering and Heavenly. Thanks for another Great Review and Appreciation for some wonderful different sounding 1 hits that people never seem to remember anymore but that live forever in my Hear and Soul and Brain. God Bless Good Sir from your friend in texas 🤠

Lindsey is under rated now a days. I absolutely loved this video, and the 🎧 is top tier.

I love this song. I bought the album on the strength of that song. Of course Buckingham is the genius guitar player in Fleetwood Mac. This is a solo effort from him between Fleetwood Mac albums - I think in the very early 80s. Yep, the video is odd - but this is when people were just starting to make them and it seemed like the minimalist blown out white and any old weirdness qualified. The song, however, is smooth and hypnotic. Videos may come and go, but the song itself more than stands up.

A lot has been said about Lindsey - great guitarist, great producer, quirky inventive songwriting. I say he, even more than Stevie Nicks, was responsible for the best Fleetwood Mac years
