I love auctions! Just this weekend I went to an auction and got a vintage Rushton rubber face duck for $1 and I listed it on eBay that evening. He is already bid up to $118.50 with over 5 days to go and 31 watchers. The last one that sold went for $277 and was not nearly as nice as mine. So exciting!
Hey guys, y'all need to get a roof rack basket and a net to tie stuff down and one of those receiver hitch baskets too. Bunjie cords and stretch cargo nets really come in handy. My gosh, y'all could have bought so much more! HA HAA! 😅😂
There is a product called Retro Clean. I have used it on an old quilt of my grandma's. It took out the old stains really well. They say to check for colorfast, but I didn't do it and it was fine. With all the staining it really couldn't be used anyway, so nothing ventured nothing gained. What a great haul!

OMG what a score you both did so well. I started out going to live auctions and got great deals. I bought a box for 7.00 and sold one piece out of it for 1200.
I love those kind of auctions, there used to be a place that did storage unit boxes and i paid $4 for a box and sold a sterling teapot for $200. Those auctions are 🔥🔥🔥. Awesome job guys you rock!

What great fun! I so miss auctions. Used to go locally several times a month. Was nervous at first, but became quite good at it. You definitely can't allow other buyers to see your excitement. After you connect with the auctioneer he/she will see your slightest movement, blink or nod. Your finds are super! I collect manger scenes, and want them all. So precious. I've already checked out the store and will watch for the paperweight. I have a fascination with flat wear, like you, and have lots of silver plate & sterling. The little fork you showed is a cocktail fork for shrimp. Hope your finds continue to be good, and thank you for sharing your unwanted picks with a vendor. I'm sure that made his day. Cat

It was fun watching y’all at this auction. I love how excited you get when you find something with value buried in a box. I’ve been going to auctions for years and I always take a pen with me and jot down each lot I win and it’s price on the back of my bid card so I can keep track. Then when I go to settle up I can compare my total and number of lots with theirs. Mistakes do get made on occasion.

I do auctions as well for many years now to resell and it’s a blast! I have a Honda Civic hatchback with folded seats and have been in the same situation many times which made me laugh trying to strategically get everything in😅 Then try to give away what you don’t need. Fun coming home opening up and researching! Glad you discovered these types of sales. Your bidders face looks like mine lol. Serious but hoping no one bids😂

Thank goodness there wasn’t a lot of other reselllers looking for the same type of items as you and Matt. It looked like there were a few resellers there but wow, thank the Lord there wasn’t a whole bunch of competitors! I enjoyed how much fun y’all had and just think of the deal you gave to the flea market reseller that you gave all those extra boxes to. Hopefully he found a few gems, too!

This is why I love going to auctions. I have my favorite auctioneers who don't take every little thing out of the boxes so if you have gotten there early and gone through them yourselves you can really come out.

Kayla you could wear hikers with double socks, the sneakers will always freeze your feet in cold weather. Also pocket warmers for your hands.
