Thanks for info on how it works. I’m going to DIY it for pots far from hose. You could use lamp wick.

Let us know how it works. I did use cotton yarn one year and it wicked up way too much water and rotted the roots of my plants. So keep an eye on it if you go that route! Maybe I did it wrong.

Thanks for sharing! I'm on the fence about it. I think if you adjust the wick it will release more or less water. I was disappointed that one of them sprung a leak pretty much immediately. Not sure.... I think I'll stick with my diy self watering setup.
