I have also invested in quality hair products. I feel like a whole new person with bouncy hair now. It is motivating me to make more positive changes in my life. I am so glad you like the French audio track! I try to be as inclusive as possible but sometimes I get criticism about the audio dubbing. It's so nice to know that it worked well.
You explain both hair and makeup options so well Gabi - you’re a great teacher. I used to spend lots of time blowing out my thick, course hair into a straight smooth appearance. Then I discovered the Brazilian Blowout, and while expensive, it gives me the texture I love. Glad I discovered your channel- so fun!

@@GlamGirlGabi I'm loving my new bob haircut! I've always really liked how it frames my face and how it feels so fresh! I also coloured it a nice mahogany brown which suits my fair complexion. I showed my hairdresser this video and she really liked how you explained everything. Thanks to you Gabi and your step-by-step instructions, I can make reference to your videos and do a better job styling my hair on my own. 💕
I love this!! Thank you !! I have had a bob my whole life, my hair doesn't grow very long. I feel like a rare breed with a bob nowadays since long hair is so popular. Seeing you do your bob you rock it and inspire me! I love your highlights too. Thank you for your videos! 💗💓💕
You're so welcome! I am so glad that you enjoyed this video Victoria. I look WAY BETTER with a bob. I have such a thin face (and fine hair texture), so whenever I let my hair grow long, it drags my face down soooo much. Bobs all the way!
I’m 56 and have had variations on the bob for most of my life since I was a teenager, in spite of many changes where I decided to try all sorts of alternatives like shoulder length hair, pixies, etc. I’ve always gone back to the bob, because it really does allow for easier styling and for a lot more variety and variations than most people think……I’ve had every length of bangs possible, no bangs, currently curtain bangs , center parted, side parted, deep side parted, wavy, pin straight you name it. This is a great video -I love the bone-straight style so I was interested to see your opinion on the Dyson. My hair is on the fine side, and I unfortunately found the ColorWow product my my hair look a little bit greasy, no matter what I did. Would love to see a “light” version. Thanks again, you have such a clear and thorough way of explaining everything.
I have a French bob with bangs. I’m 61. I wear my hair differently all the time, and I don’t have your talent or skill. Sometimes I let it dry wavy, sometimes I blow it out straight, sometimes I blow it out full, sometimes I puff it up more. Even tucking behind my ears changes the whole look. I love it - and I am someone who has literally hated my hair since I was 25.
Thank you Gabi for this fantastic video! I have a Vidal Sassoon AIR STYLE BRILLIANCE set to style my bob. As a 74 yo it's so much easier and I love the outcome.
Gabi, I get the best hair advice from you and Justin. Thank you so much. I’ve really learned a lot about how to style my hair from you. I don’t always do it, but at least I know how now! Also, I really love the Pure Wow product. I have never managed to get my hair completely straight with that, but it takes the frizz out of my hair and leaves it really shiny and silky.
Thank you for your advice. I’m transitioning from a short pixie to a layered bob, still about 5 months to go before I reach correct length at chin length. I have a blow dryer brush and the adviced products for fine ( but a lot of) hair. I struggle to style my hair in transition beteeen two styles and love to watch all your expert advice. Thank you for everything 🤗
You look absolutely stunning in your makeup, especially your eyes. ❤ Thank you for this and your earlier hair tutorial videos. I now use most of the steps that you showed and am.super happy with my hair. Only wish I had a Dyson, he he.

Thank you, Gaby for all of your videos! I am subscribed and watch everything that you post. You are a beautiful woman inside and out! I have enjoyed watching for quite some time now. You have helped me in so many ways. I am 66 years old and I want to stay young looking for the rest of my life.
I have thin, fine, fairly straight gray hair. Because I'm 70, I don't think the straight look is for me (?) so I normally go for more volume. I'm growing my hair out after having a longish pixie for YEARS! It's the longest It's been since I was young, but I've just gotten to just below my ear & (mostly) one length with a longer curtain bang. I want it to grow another inch or so but it's SO HARD to resist cutting it back off to a more "familiar" pixie style! Thank you for these tips & product suggestions!
It's always that last inch or so when transitioning from hair styles that can be so tough to resist cutting. I'm glad you found the video helpful and I hope you reach your hair length goal!
Great tips Gabi, 🤩 I love the straight look, as I have naturally curly hair I let it air dry first then , blow dry roughly to get a little moisture out ,then I use my blow dryer brush then go over it with my straightener ,I love the Bob cut look thinking of getting it myself too , 👍
I would love to see a video on 2nd and 3rd day styling. Mine parts and I have the hardest time restyling. Also ways to style short layered hair and how to do updo’s for short hair.
I have a new shorter Bob and I really don’t like blow dryers and worried my heated brush wouldn’t work it does and I can do a few different things with it. I can do straight bendy curls wigged out it sets very quickly too. I love Moroccan texture spray and paste. Great video thanks for sharing 🦋
I cannot do the brush and dyer. But…I love my dryer/brush . So much easier. Next I want to learn the wave look to my hair. Recently cut my hair into shaggy bob from very long hair and trying fun new styles. Thank you for this video. Very informative.
Bonjour Gabi Un Grand merci pour cette vidéo coiffure. Décidément vous êtes une femme très inspirante avec un soucis du détail extra, j'apprécie grandement vos conseils très professionnel. Hello Gabi, I like way #2 to style your hair, very smooth, it suits you very well. I can't wear my hair like this, my hair is very curly, so I either stay natural or tie it up. Thank you for sharing🥰🥰🥰
Hi Gabi I got my haircut like yours I will be 59 in December... I love the style of the Bob in the blunt Bob although I don't like my bob cut that short it makes me too self-conscious to you have that short of hair and I also know this it brings more attention to my face when you get older that can be difficult love the style love the cut but will definitely keep it longer resting right upon my shoulders and not shorter than that I have a wedding next month so I'm regretting it so short can't afford extensions but with these videos I enjoy watching and I'm learning so much from you on styling..... I love my hair when I can pull it back in a ponytail or pull it up and it's just a little too short right now any suggestions? As always love and hugs from Oregon... My face is heart-shaped so I do need it a little bit longer I think it looks better resting on the shoulders during the short period I have been flipping it up in the back and that appears to be working and giving me some lift and not bringing so much attention to how short it is.... I love your channel love your videos and love you you're a doll thank you for caring so much about all of us and teaching us how to deal with our hairstyles and makeup you truly are an artist I watch you everyday and I have for years❤
Hello Bob twin! I'm sorry you are not loving the length of your bob and hopefully it will grow out quickly for you. The trend for fall is going to be a longer bob anyways! I do have another styling video you might enjoy, but I think the biggest battle is just waiting as your hair grows out. Here's the video link ruclips.net/video/WqByOmQIQYc/видео.html Thanks again for watching and supporting the channel!
@@GlamGirlGabi I really appreciate your response I hope you're having a good day I agree it's just a matter of time a longer Bob will work for me I love your hair
I really enjoy. All your videos, but this one was fantastic…so many tips and tricks over and above the two styles. Thank you for explaining everything and following by demonstrating on yourself, so we can actually see how to do it ourselves♥️
Late to this party: I’m a straight hair girl. I can NOT get volume to stay in my fine hair, though I have taken notes on the products you used and we shall see! It is way easier for me to just blow dry the hair straight and let it be since my hair is like fine baby hair. It is also slippery and only knows how to play dead, so I go wth it.
I loved this video as well as your mom's new bob! I'm in my late 50s, and I have been doing Brazillan Blowouts for years. I initially started because my hair was so damaged and I've continued the treatments to control frizz and it speeds up dry time, often too quickly! What are your thoughts on BBs? I have thin, fine hair but struggle with cowlicks.
Love these hair tutorials!! You do such a great job explaining how to style hair! Do you have a less expensive suggestion to the texturizing spray product?
Gabby, another great video! I gravitate towards the one with volume. Both are pretty, though. Can you do a video for styling natural wavy/curly hair? I’m interested in your thoughts on what haircuts, products, and tools work best for wavy or curly hair.
Looks great, I have always heard volume brush dryers are damaging to the hair? Ex hairdresser so I can use a brush and blowdryer but it’s definitely a pain. Is there a difference in what blowdryer brushes are better? Or tips if you use one how not to damage the hair ?
I have fine thinning hair cut in a bob style like you and use velcro curlers. It looks great on the first day but falls flat on the second day. What can I do to solve that issue? Thank you for all you do to provide us with such great content, it is much appreciated.
I love my Dyson Airstrait. I have never before been able to have frizz-free hair. I have tried round brushes, vent brushes, blow dry brushes, etc. Always a frizzy mess. The Airstrait enables me to get smooth frizz-free hair that lasts for multiple days. If I don't want my hair stick straight I can bend the ends slightly with a flat iron or curling iron. Previously, when using a blow dryer my hair would be a frizzy mess and then I would really need to hit it hard with a hot flat iron, from the top all the way down (usually needing multiple passes). Way more damage. My sink would be full of hair. The Airstrait just glides down the hair shaft without tugging or pulling.
I love Choose Your Own Adventure! These tutorials really raise one’s beauty IQ! I have a question: I have a bob with light bangs. When I wear my hair straight, the bangs look amazing. But when I go wavy or curly, I don’t know what to do with my bangs. When my bangs are straight and the rest of the hair isn’t, the two look disconnected. What are your thoughts?
Ha ha ha! I am so sick of seeing long, straight hair on just about everyone. It's funny that women think that a bob is not versatile. It sure is! Looks fab on Gab(i) ❤.
Hi Gabi! Always love your hair tutorials. I am currently favoring the blow dry brush - I have the same one! I would love love to get the Dyson Airstraightner but it's not just expensive, its crazy crazy expensive, I just can't do it. I am hoping someone will come out with a dupe soon (lol) I also hesitated on getting the WOW product, the reviews on Sephora were not that great however seeing that you have recommended it, I will try it out. Maybe the fact that you are to only use it alone rather than layered with other products may be the result of the poor reviews. Thanks so much Gabi - I love both looks on you, but I also love pin straight hair, so in the video I am all for #2 😊💕
Hey Antonia! You're right about the Dyson airstrait. It's CRAZY expensive and also very one dimensional. It doesn't do anything except for straighten so you have to really like that to find it worth the price. As for the wow products - it is activated with heat just like a salon Keratin treatment so it doesn't work at all unless you blow dry it into the hair and straighten the hair. I think most people are not using it correctly and that is why they're having issues with it.
Hi! I have long frizzy oily at the roots dry ends and very fine wavy hair. I've tried the new Living Proof air-dry styler and I can't make it work for the life of me. Have you tried that product? Would you make a video about it please? thank you for this channel 🥰😘
Hi Gabi, I discovered your videos this summer and practically binge watched them. Your videos on blow drying your bob helped me so much. I bought the TYMO blow out brush and was SO happy with it and received compliments on how healthy my hair looked from strangers. Unfortunately, it was very, very hot and I feel it damaged my hair. I tried using the cool setting by that didn't help with smoothness or shine. TYMO customer service was great and they sent me a second blow out brush. Of course, the second one was just as hot. I have to blow dry my hair each time I style it and during the school year I style it every day. My question is, do you prefer the Nano Titanium? Is it cooler than the TYMO? Sorry for this long paragraph.
I have had the same concern with using blowdry brushes as they get SO HOT! Am wondering if the dyson airwrap "volumizing brush" would cause less damage and therefore be a good option?
Thank you for all the videos and information you share. On your recommendation I bought the 3 products-Dreamcoat, Root Lift, and the Root Mist. Yes, I found out that the last 2 cannot be used in conjunction with the Dreamcoat. I want the lift and volume without the frizziness. In that case, what would you suggest? Thank you
I have had the same hairstyle for years and style it with a hot airbrush the way you showed it. I think there are many pros to this haircut. For example, the styling time is short because the hair is relatively short. While I get compliments on it and I feel like the style looks elegant, it truly makes younger women look older, in my opinion. I don't think it is about the length because straight bobs look very cool and trendy. The one with volume to it looks like a mid-90's hairstyle and makes me look more mature than I am based on my age. I don't like the damaging effect of hair straightening products though so I don't make it straight unless there is a special occasion. The reason why I don't want longer hair is because my hair tends to get pretty oily so I have to wash it every 2-3 days and I don't want to spend a whole hour styling my hair almost every morning before work. Do you think changing the color could help me look younger instead of changing my hairstyle? What colors make women look younger? I have my natural brunette color at the moment.
I’ve had various bobs for years, yet can never get volume. I have dense, coarse hair. Would you have any product recommendations? BTW, you are gorgeous!!❤
Did you try the Moroccan oil products I recommended here? I LOVE them. I also love the Alterna Caviar volume line too. I did a video that was all about volume (it was when my bob haircut was slightly layered). Check that out because it may be really helpful for you: ruclips.net/video/WqByOmQIQYc/видео.html
@@GlamGirlGabi I have looked on their website. Volume products = fine/medium texture. That hair is not found on my head!🤣. I just tried the Velcro rollers on top of my head. I did get volume…for about 5 mins. I did not spray any product afterward. I will try your blow dry technique next wash.
I think my hair is similar but a little bit thicker at the bottom and thinner at the top. My hairdresser says it is almost in ringlets in the back. I have worn it straight-ish most of my life. It is shoulder length and I have tried a dryer brush with no success. I can't ever get it straight. I think I'm trying to do too much hair at once, but I also wonder if the added length is part of the problem. However, when I try to wear it shorter it feels like it is so much harder to get the curl out. Thanks for this video. It had lots of good ideas and product suggestions to try. I am in my early 60s and about 25% gray in my medium brown hair. I am struggling with whether or not to color. Do you have any videos on blending color or highlights into graying hair so that you don't have a harsh grow-out line or is just coloring best? I have always felt like my hair has been a good feature, but right now I'm feeling a bit dowdy.
Great vid for bob-styles! Soon it will be 3 months since I got a short French bob. I'm looking forward to when it gets your length so I can wear the supermodel voluminous look & the modern chic straight style. I like the long curtain bangs too. Thanks for all the tips, I'm sure I will be revisiting this video in the future. Thumbs up! I subbed a long time ago!!! wink :)
Love watching your videos! I have the dream wow, and absolutely love it. Thanks to your video I watched a while back or I probably would have never bought it, so thank you... Well, I'm wondering if you have any suggestions for someone that has long hair past the middle of their back, with thin to fine hair. I would love to have some volume. I use the WOW cause my hair gets frizzy, is there anything you can use with this product to get some fullness. Would you recommend the products in this video or maybe something else. Thank you!

You are so welcome!

Here's the video link ruclips.net/video/WqByOmQIQYc/видео.html
Thanks again for watching and supporting the channel!
@@GlamGirlGabi I really appreciate your response I hope you're having a good day I agree it's just a matter of time a longer Bob will work for me I love your hair
Thanks for sending the video ...I'm going to watch it right now 💕💕💕love and hugs from Oregon
I really enjoy. All your videos, but this one was fantastic…so many tips and tricks over and above the two styles. Thank you for explaining everything and following by demonstrating on yourself, so we can actually see how to do it ourselves♥️
You're so welcome! I am really happy to hear that you enjoyed this video!
You are a phenomenal instructor! Thank you!
Thank you! I’m so happy to hear that you enjoyed this!
Great video, lots of good tips . I want to try some of the looks and thanks for showing the use of the tools , I cant wait try.
I love these videos of 2 different looks- I also Love your curly hair ❤
Could you do a video on types of non-electric combs and brushes and what each is primarily used for.
Here's a video I made a while back about which brushes to use and for what ruclips.net/video/f9dui0J1yFU/видео.html
Such a mesmerizing video! I just love watching you style hair :) I always learn new things.
Thanks for watching!
Love these hair tutorials!! You do such a great job explaining how to style hair! Do you have a less expensive suggestion to the texturizing spray product?
What top do you have on? The one with leopard print? I LOVE it!
Also love the video. Both looks are gorgeous.
Gabby, another great video! I gravitate towards the one with volume. Both are pretty, though.
Can you do a video for styling natural wavy/curly hair? I’m interested in your thoughts on what haircuts, products, and tools work best for wavy or curly hair.
I'm not a curly expert, so I always tend to recommend Manes by Mell if you're looking for great curly hair advice! www.youtube.com/@ManesByMell
@@GlamGirlGabi Good suggestion! I’ll check her out. Thanks!
Wow! you did so much work on this video and it is so well done. Thank you!
Glad you liked it!
I love, love, love your videos. Always learn so much
Thank you so much!
Looks great, I have always heard volume brush dryers are damaging to the hair? Ex hairdresser so I can use a brush and blowdryer but it’s definitely a pain. Is there a difference in what blowdryer brushes are better? Or tips if you use one how not to damage the hair ?
Cool wenn man jeden Tag gut aussieht, langweilig finde ich es gar nicht, habe sehr dickes Haar und wenig Arbeit. Mega Frisur.❤
Gabi, please link your shirt! I love it!!! Want to buy it!!
Amazing advice as always!
Super chiara e super brava.
Anche per il fatto che posso leggere le tue istruzioni in italiano!!!
Thanks for watching!
Amazing looks, note I want to get a bob cut and work on different styles, thank you so much, I won’t get that Dyson, too expensive!!!
I was bored with my bob until you came along❤
I'm here for you! So many ways to style it. Limitless possibilities!
I love my Hair blower brush combo. ❤
I love your makeup can you share the products and how you did it. Thanks
Hi Gabi, I really enjoy your videos! Do you use hairspray after styling your hair? If so, what would you recommend. Thank you!
I love your channel and all the different content.
Thanks for the lesson... ❤️ I hope I’m doing by myself
Great tutorial as usual. Love your channel !!❤
Thanks for watching - your support means a lot to me!
I have fine thinning hair cut in a bob style like you and use velcro curlers. It looks great on the first day but falls flat on the second day. What can I do to solve that issue? Thank you for all you do to provide us with such great content, it is much appreciated.
Please share what colour/make of lipstick you are wearing; it looks so beautiful on you!
Thank you so much. This was fun and so very helpful ❤
I really appreciate this step by step.
Thanks for sharing your Airstrait review! It's a great tool!
Best tutorial ever!
Thank you!
Thank you
Thank you, Gabi!
Hey Gabi, can I use the Moroccanoil volumizing mousse instead of that mist for the mids?
I love both looks!!
Absolutely Beautiful! 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank you so much!
I love your hair in a blunt bob ❤
Thank you. I'm loving it too!
Learned a lot!!! Thank you!!
Thumbs up! I subbed a long time ago!!! wink :)
Thanks for watching and subscribing. I appreciate you and I'm excited for your hair growth!
Bonjour, j adore vos vidéos, elles sont traduites en français donc je peux vous suivre !!
I'm glad you appreciate it! I want to share with as many people as I can!
Thank you!
Thank you for this great video. You’re beautiful and highly skilled. You’re making me want to try styling my own hair. Im subscribed and watching your videos. Thank you so much.
You can do it! Thank you so much for watching. I really appreciate having you here.
