Off course! you have to have a master/instructor in order to learn, and resistant mates in order to apply the techniques realistically!!! videos are great to remember different techniques, much more useful to instructors than to students ;)

It's good that techniques on Hapkido exist on video. But I'm glad that I learned Hapkido the old fashion way, by attending class instructions.

Nice review of my schooling ! 🙂
i'm starting hapkido on tuesday, cant wait! i feel sorry for the poor lad in the white gi xD
It is a toeboek (Korean) and the word, correctly, is dogi for an Okinawan/Japanese martial arts clothing (ki means, simply, clothing).

Keep hands low and block after they strike at you = getting your ass knocked out in a fight outside the dojo.
Didn't see ali getting knocked out I know fighters who purposely leave their hands down and they win
Clearly a novice...

How do you know no one grabs like that....You are just coping what arm chair warriors say.
Don't be so sure. I've seen guys grab girls' arms, hands and wrist, but not often.
