I'm 64 years old and every time I've ever heard this song I always get Goosebumps. I got them last week at a Brit Floyd concert and I just got them now with you sina! You are always the best...... shine on!!
Im 65 and Brit Floyd and Australian Pink Floyd are I think are the only Floyd tribute bands I haven't seen. This version in my opinion is as good as any tribute band I've seen🤭🤩😃😁
Hello , I,m from Canada , Seen Pink Floyd live here 2 times in early 90,s ,best show ever , brings back memories When I see this ,tears in my eyes , Sina you are a Diamond , shine on you crazy Diamond , as Floyd would say !! Bless you !!
Well...I'm 66yrs old and this really did it for me..I was lucky enough to see pink Floyd in 1996 and this really does bring it all back....David Gilmour.
Sina, your fleeting smile at 2:12 says everything. You nailed the tom toms part and knew you could just lose yourself playing the rest of the piece. Years ago we could see you working so hard to “get it right”. You always did, but now your artistry almost seems easy because you are that good. Congratulations! I enjoyed every moment of this performance.
Some Pink Floyd is always good. Brilliant performances, superb editing, kudos to all. Sina, I find it interesting that you used the match grip for this song, to me, it was like a trip back in time! Love the way you were playing and moving, I think you were really in touch with the music. Cool top, I like it, looking great just as usual. Thank you Sina for all that you do, and for being the wonderful person that you are.
In the early 1970's I used to work for a musician in London called Maurice Plaquet. He owned an equipment rental company at the time and we put gear into all the major London studios, the BBC and so on. Everything from guitars, amps, keyboards and drums etc. Nearly all the pop/rock/modern drummers we saw back then used the "American" or "matched" overhand style of holding sticks exclusively. It was only the classical musicians or those who's life was dedicated to re-creating the 1930's big band Jazz drummers who held in the "traditional" or underhand styles. I did ask why and was told by drummer John Alder (aka: Twink - "The In Crowd", "Pretty Things", and he even played a few gigs with Syd Barratt - Pink Floyd ) of various psychedelic/space rock groups from that same era that the traditional grip lets you triplet or roll the snare hit relatively easily whereas overhand needs a different type of grip and concentration to do more or less the same thing. He also said that overhand also allows for a much more even or "matched" strike between both hands whereas in the traditional grip each hand has a very different feel and resulting sound. I don't know how true that is... I was never "good" at any of them HAHAHAHA. Another drummer we worked with was very much of the view that a good drum instructor would ensure you learned all the various grips equally well and used them at the appropriate time. I like the way that Sina can do both and produce great results from them. I guess as the old Cockney saying goes: "You pay your money and you take your choice" in the end.
@@brianjrichman Thank you Brian for replying, and kindly sharing knowledge gained from some your past experiences. I’ve never learned to play any music instrument so I found your reply most informative. Sina started using the traditional grip almost exclusively for her videos some time after commencing with studies last year at ArtEZ, a music university in the Netherlands. (I’m guessing that you probably know of ArtEZ.) That’s why, for me, it was like a trip back in time when she returned to the match grip for this song. The song dates back to 1973 making this video an excellent trip back in time on two counts. I believe it’s this coming September that Sina will start her second year at ArtEZ. Agreed, she produces great results never mind the grip, or the music genre for that matter. Again, many thanks for your reply.
i have been listening to TIME since 1974, about 20x per year : THIS version is amazing : new vocal + intonation, FRESH drumming (so modern !) and the guitar on the Tele is priceless . . . GREAT JOB !
This was about a perfect a cover as I've seen you perform Sina. So true to the original. I got the same feelings when I first heard it 48 years ago. That's why I love your channel. It brings back memories and feelings that just make's a person smile on the inside. That's your magic!!
If you really want to see her at her best, watch her cover of in-a-gadda-da-vida by Iron Butterfly. A very long song and she was beat perfect the whole time. I didn't think that was possible!
Bravo! A fine rendition all around. I heard this song when I was 17 and mostly into Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Allman Brothers and the like. After hearing this and being truly awed by the lyrics as much as the music I started listening to Yes, Moody Blues, Emerson Lake and Palmer and more. This song, more than anything since the Beatles I Saw Her Standing There influenced my music appreciation as well as literary interests and philosophy. Time...You run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking, racing around to come up behind you again. The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older, shorter of breath and one day closer to death. then later...And then one day you find ten years have got behind you No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun Just thinking about all that these few lines implicates and involves just set my mind in new directions. It was definitely a mind blowing experience for a naive 17 year old.
That smile at 2:12 just says it all. It comes unconsciously and spontaneously. It is simply like that. When she has her sticks, she's fine, she's comfortable, she's in her own world. She loves what she does. And that's exactly how she plays, full of passion, devotion and absolutely authentic. And from that, with absolute perfection. Sina, welcome to the world of the "greats", because that's exactly where you belong.
I had a friend who played several instruments and would like to play 3-5 songs in the late evening. I thought it was a radio because he sounded just like the band he was trying to sound like. Over dinner once he told me that the only radio he owned was a HAM and that it was in fact he playing the music. I was so blown away.
I would smile too if I made it through that intro so cleanly. That intro is somewhat irregular and the timing is the key making it work and keeping it clean.
Sometimes I think Sina varies things. Yes, she is always surrounded by talented musicians, even when it is just her family. Then there is the band she is in. And of course collaborations/tributes like this.
I'm a 62 year old major Pink Floyd fan from the country side of N.Y. USA, and I just want to say you all did a great job on one of my most favorite songs. Kudos to all.
As a fan of Pink Floyd, I have to write that this is a great cover. Sina perfect and beautiful as always. The vocals, the guitars, the keyboards, all excellent. The sound mixing is top notch. Thank you for this musical experience.
Fantastic. I must admit back in the day I never became a big Pink Floyd fan but I have come to appreciate their music a lot in later years. When I heard the intro to this, it gave me the chills and I knew I was going to be in for a wonderful listening experience. I was not disappointed. Sina seems to have the uncanny ability to know what songs to pick and who to pick to collaborate with. Once again just spectacular. Young lady, you are the best!
À friend of mine brought me the vinyl in grade 11 - the cover was worn out but the LP still fine. We were conscripted directly out of school - all I missed was the album. At 65 still my favourite album followed by Wish you were here. Miss the days and my youth but Time brings back some of that. All of you did an excellent job here thank you. 👍
JUSTICE!!! I have listened to so many covers by so many groups and beside Brit Floyd this one of the BEST. I think it is safe to call this the start of German Floyd. I have been a Floyd freak for 45 years. I've had the privilege of seeing Pink Floyd in concert twice. I must say that was brilliant. Sina you did Nick Mason proud.
Am blown away. I used to listen to this in my younger years. If I close my eyes, I feel like I'm back there again. The song is so well covered you can't tell. Sina is so relaxed that her passion flows into the drums and the music flows.
Brings back days of my youth. Grew up listening to Pink Floyd. Great Cover by the group. Never a flaw when Sina plays . You are a flawless/magnificent drummer. My nephew has been a drummer for 20 years. I showed your RUclips channel to him. he said he should retire, you are great. To bad you lost at paint ball and your shirt took all the hits. However it was perfect for a Floyd cover Great Job all and million thumbs up.
To Sticky Hickey, this was an all around 100% first class rendition with Sina of this Pink Floyd classic. You guys are amazing here. I look forward to your album release and I commend you on teaming up with Sina for this cover. (You guys seem to think she's pretty special too for including her on some of your songs). She's a special young lady and look forward to those video releases you have planned. Bravo Sticky Hickey!! Brava Sina!
Surely one of the best covers, if not the best, of this extremely complicated piece of music that was designed by architects across space & time. Having listened to this song for over 4 decades & having watched Sina mature into a great professional drummer since 2016, I have to be ruthlessly critical in saying that she got lost a bit in the middle. And I say that as a well-wisher who wants the absolute best for Sina. Her Hotel California was more perfect. Also, pretty sure that even Nick Mason will find it hard to repeat what he recorded in the studios way back in 1972-73.
Pink Floyd has always come off as perfection with their music, this is by far some of the best works I've heard from anyone trying to cover the music of Pink Floyd.
That was VERY impressive. Sticky Hickey and Sina make quality music together, again. And that intro was perfect. Most excellent work on the video edit. Quality team makes a great classic better.
Pink Floyd was one of my favorite bands back in the day. You guys nailed it! thank you, and your intro was perfect. Stay safe and thanks for all the music. I like that shirt too!
When I cant sleep or my mind is very troubled I listen PF DarkSide and Shine on Crazy diamond - whole night through. Just to say to group here this version will go into my PF folder. Thanks. Its late in my life but you young talented one's make it bearable. Luv u.❤
This is my favorite Floyd tune and they are my all-time favorite band. This song has hit me on a deep, personal level for a very long time. Excellent tribute! It sounds fantastic. Love it!

That was a great cover - not that their are many cover bands that play pink floyd, The untrained ear might not be able to tell the difference.I can tell the very little differences . I have been listening to Pink Floyd since I was in high school, a million years ago or so it seems, actually the 70's. I probably have listened to this song and album at least a million times. I love to hear Sina play and everything she does. I'm am 66 and was very fortunate the hear them live in 1976, the Animals Tour. Who can't forget the giant pig flying across the huge stadium . All though I was a stoner at the time what Pink Floyd fan wasn't at the time, well there was one the guy who drove. Most likely the only one ! You didn't need any for that concert That whole period of time was some of the happiest time of my life.
a great classic interpreted great by this good band together with the wonderful sina I love you sina congratulations for the wonderful shirt so continue my drums queen
I will be , I can not believe I am going to say it 60 years old to soon ,had the fortune to see PINK FLOYD twice YOU SINA-DRUMS and STICK HICKEY NAILED IT BEST COVER I HAVE EVERY HEARD ..........................with love peace out .
You take on songs from such huge bands, from an era that I personally think, was the best era musically. The unmistakable and great Pink Floyd. You never fail to impress. Great performance from all
This is a long-wanted cover of this classic. What a challenge!! And how greatly you succeed! This is heartwarming and wonderful rendition. I think you bunch are the best Floyd tribute combo I've heard and there are so many around the globe. Huge thanks to you all🙏🧚♀️✨
I was 12 when this song came out and I remember listening to the vinyl record in my room (at the highest volume my record player would play) while I played the "air drums" to this opening. Thanks for that journey back in "Time".
A very good cover of one of my favorite songs ever. This is why I notice differences but on the other hand I appreciate the brave musicians who decide to cover such a masterpiece. Thanks you, again. I mean it! 👍
Geburtstag.
Finally some Pink Floyd! Thank you Sina for continuing to “WOW!” me and all of your fans! You are so very talented and it brings me so much joy to watch your videos! May you live forever and continue rockin’ those drums!🤘
Einfach Phantastisch Sina. Ich liebe die Musik von Pink Floyd seit meiner Kindheit. Ich bin nun 56 und liebe sie immer noch. Super Outfit von dir, du hast Riesentalent, mach immer weiter Sina.
The sheet emotion in the face of the solo guitarist as he plays takes me right back to when, like everyone else at that time, I sat and listened to Dark Side with my headphones on. Thank you for this brilliant cover ! ❤
Mmmm ... I close my eyes and they transport me to the same places as when I heard it for the first time, they simply captured the essence of the music, congratulations to all and Sina ... you are simply incredible !! Greetings from Argentina and total thanks !!

Truly A-W-E-S-O-M-E . . . As Always . . . Drums Lady ! ! !
Nice partnership !
Great! Let me vote for 100,000,000 likes for Ms. Sina, the performance style is very professional, young and creative. I love Sina.

If I wasn't actually watching you guys ... I would swear this was Floyd ... excellent!
Sina that was fantastic, your drumming has hits a higher level. thank you for sharing that with us
I was 12 when this song came out and I remember listening to the vinyl record in my room (at the highest volume my record player would play) while I played the "air drums" to this opening. Thanks for that journey back in "Time".
Shine on you crazy diamond!
Simply wonderful. All Simply wonderful
Downstream during closing credits! My absolute favourite track from your 3rd album.
Y'all nailed this one. One of my life favorites for sure.
Kudos to you all, beautiful feel for the original! As usual, great drumming, Sina. Thanks to all involved.

Sina, once again a great performance! Congratulations to the excellent musicians! greetings from Brazil.
Good song choice, you are very talented Sina, also your collaborators, very nice 👍 🍀🤟
A very good cover of one of my favorite songs ever. This is why I notice differences but on the other hand I appreciate the brave musicians who decide to cover such a masterpiece. Thanks you, again. I mean it! 👍
You folks nailed this. Back in the 70's I was writing the lyrics on the contact board of a Navy ship while out at sea.
Geburtstag.
Finally some Pink Floyd! Thank you Sina for continuing to “WOW!” me and all of your fans! You are so very talented and it brings me so much joy to watch your videos! May you live forever and continue rockin’ those drums!🤘

Wow! Very IMPRESSIVE, keep up the great work 👍❤️😀
The sheet emotion in the face of the solo guitarist as he plays takes me right back to when, like everyone else at that time, I sat and listened to Dark Side with my headphones on. Thank you for this brilliant cover ! ❤
Amazing - the new Sina! And band! Awesome!
Sina, naciste 40 años después de la mejor música. Igual la podes disfrutar. Un saludo desde Uruguay
