Monika's been expressing this since the start of the show. This is her legacy. I really love how she speaks her mind and how much respect she gives to the art that she loves. "ART should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable".
It's really cool how Monika is not afraid to stray from what most people expected. She's always trying to show that there is more to the art of dancing than the usual cool moves. I heard she used to be a professor in not only street dance but contemporary dance too so I guess her artsy approach is not surprising

When se hyung said he felt alive by dancing, this is a very deep feeling, the only reason why dancers keep on dancing, when your soul feels that happiness and come alive... I was honestly touched and didn't expect I would feel very emotional in this eps. Monika saem reminded us again dancing is about touching hearts.. Dance with your soul, dance with your heart....
I know PROWDMON didn't win but theirs was the most memorable one and as Monica said, dance is not all about moving your body, it's also touching people's hearts and I was so in awe with their performance. The other groups were also good but PROWDMON moved me, it was cool, artistic, touching and just impressive!! Monika, you are doing such a great job 💯💯💯

Given that they were awestruck by what they saw, they definitely should've given them a higher score. Even if it were 2-4 points more. YGX & Dong Hyun did them wrong.
But I also get the criticism of Su-bin not dancing more. Personally, I get what they were going for but a part of me feels it could've gone either way. Him screaming in fury/frustration and just being done or him screaming & then getting back into the dance as a way of symbolizing kinda putting on a mask. (Not sure I expressed that right)
Prowdmon were astounding. I couldn’t help but think “this is art” as I was watching. Amazing.

When Su Bin started to shout, I felt like crying and wanted also to shout like Him to release all the silence rage, frustration that I tend to ignore inside my heart. His acting goes along very well with the whole performance.
And no words that I can express how good their performance.
I agree with this, because prowdmon also gives off the same vibes as Su Bin's acting, and monika was almost crying too, I felt their emotions, it was very strong

Others were like, *"If I knew he was going to scream and do nothing, I should have done the same."* I mean, Subin did his part on the first half. He looked like he is originally a part of Prowdmon and he did a great job at synchronizing with the crew while doing that popping of the suit (or whatever it's called). Each member of the crew were given the chance to shine. The part where he screamed must be really overwhelming that they totally forgot what he did on the first half. Maybe you can also shout like he did, but you can't deliver the same emotions. He literally became the catalyst of the crew and he helped them build the emotions to become deeper and more genuine. No one can do that but him. Salute to Monica for being a good leader by using Subin's strength (acting) as their highlight. This performance is the most memorable to me. 💙

it made me cry. im a dancer myself, and part of the lgbtq+. So when he said that moment he felt so alive. I felt like someone understood why dancers are very passionate in what they are doing.

Yes, it's obvious that Monika stands firm on dancing philosophy ....dancing is expresions through your body movement. Music, beat, words or even silence can only be the tool under the dancer's wish.
His hyungs were probably trying to lighten up the mood with their critiques of Subin's dancing, but I kind of feel it was unwarranted and a little harsh. He really did a good job keeping up with the dancers in the first half, and making yourself vulnerable enough to express such a strong emotion on stage and impromptu nonetheless, while making sure it's in the keeping of the mood of the performance takes a lot of thought and courage. Out of all the performances, Prowdmon and Subin's was the most memorable.
That being said, I applaud Se Hyung's commitment and hard work. And I'm so glad that it paid off for him and he found the unique form joy and fulfillment that can only come with dancing. The hours of rehearsals, the sweat, the aches and pains all for those few minutes or seconds to bring a moment of movement to life, and then to move people's hearts by it is beyond exhilarating.
I totally agree with your thoughts on PROWDMON&SU BIN performance, I started watching this show because of seungi but recently I've been feeling the show is being kind of biased towards the host, I remember when Cha Eun woo was still on the, he literally get alot of on screen time, even when his not doing anything, I love Eun woo but I think su bin is a good just and seems like such a good person, but I don't like the character they're biulding for him, he gets less complements and on screen time, I really love this performance and feel like they deserve more compliment and points, I'm starting not to like this show not so much 🙄
yeah they were kinda harsh against subin and I was kinda disappointed that they received a score of 88 from ygx, no hate against them but i felt that they (prowdmon) deserve more, well maybe the choreography and criteria doesn't match. Anyway their performance will always be remembered.
@@motunrayoenitan4723 I totally agree to this. Maybe if they just make an episode about strengthening the bonds of the three together with Subin, we will see more of their interactions. Their recent episodes show little interactions with the members (or maybe just with Subin?) and they look like they're on the show just to work (unlike on their previous episodes with CEW and SSR where they look like a family). It's just sad to see them like that. The magic that made me fall in love to this show is slowly fading 🥺

@@motunrayoenitan4723 I've just been seeing the clips on RUclips and there does seem to be a difference in rapport/relationship between the guys and Su Bin vs Eun Woo.
With Seung-gi & Eun Woo in particular, they seemed brotherly? and Seung-gi & Su-bin, they're kinda rivals? I don't know. Maybe it's still brotherly but a different type of brothers. Like you have the brother you dote on/the one who idolizes you and then you have brothers who compete/strives to reach their level.
I kinda think it's because they're all still new with each other. They're still feeling the relationships out.
Sidenote: I never know whether to hyphenate the names or not which is why I did both (with & without) haha

Subin did amazing! And prowdmon as usual is just such a sophisticated and philosophical dance team. I'm slightly sad that they made fun / could not understand the power of his impromptu screams but I'm glad we as the audience get to understand the meaning behind the dance. It's so profound.

I love what Monika is expressing about dance it’s not just moving your joints and I just love how she is never nervous or uncomfortable to express her opinions and thoughts
Out of all acts Subin and Prowdmom's performance is my favorite of all. All of them gave an amazing performance but Subin's movements and emotion and how Prowdmom's team interpret the whole performance is a whole lot level. They aren't just dancing they almost gave a theatrical performance on the stage. Subin's part is really important and I think he's a good dancer too judging by his short movements on the first part of the choreography. Overall they all gave an amazing performance but Subin and Prowdmom's what made me left in tears it's a different level of act 🥺
I get why he's just standing in the center focusing on his facial and body emotions. It's like a depiction of someone who's already tired of moving. He is motionless but you can see the deep despair on his face that he wants to break from the despair he's feeling, but he can't move at all, he doesn't have the strength at all. How he lowered his shoulders throughout the entire performance showed how heavy the burden someone is carrying to be in that kind of motionless state. Both your body, mind and soul are too tired to move at all.
prowdmon x subin's performance was the most memorable for me tbh. it was unpredictable so it made it more thrilling and had more impact. i even got goosebumps when subin started shouting, although i admit it would've been a lot better if he danced with them more. nevertheless, monika is just so amazing gosh i love her!!
Prowdmon is prowdmon indeed. Monika's choreo is always so conceptual, neat, powerful, and moving 😭😭😭 subin you did a grrat job! I cried a little watching the whole dance.

Sehyeong felt the magic of dance. I never danced since I was young despite having the talent (my style is not a stereotype for my gender, i was afraid of being judged) but now I'm 18 now and enhanced my style and I feel so free and alive when I am dancing
Call me emotional but I actually cried when Se Hyung said that comment, and it just made me miss dancing on stage ever since the pandemic started.
As soon as sehyung said he felt so alive and it's been a while since that feeling, the tears just came out! it's so true, we forget the feeling sometimes

PROWDMON's perf made my jaw dropped and got me teary-eyed, i dont even know the lyrics of the songs, but the emotions, the choreography, the synchronization, the concept is too good to be described & judged by anyone. When Monika said, "dance is not all about moving your body, it's also touching people's hearts" WOW, as expected we/they are really behind her, we can't reached her passion in terms of dancing and art. She's not called the Professor of all dancers without a reasons. Her mindset is exceptional. SHE IS SO GOOD. If I were one of the judges, i'll give them a perfect score, no bias even though my group's gonna lose.

while watching the broadcast, i can’t help but think prowdmon did the best. considering they did a new choreography and had only 4-5 hours to rehearse were impressive. not to mention the fact that they combined subin’s acting skill in their dance routine that made the performance more emotional and heartfelt than i expected.
I had chills from the first few seconds of Prowdmon's performance, and towards the end my chest felt heavy and I had tears. Monika saem and Prowdmon is amazing!
I almost cried watching Prowdmon's performance. Mygosh, I did not expect it to resonate my emotions! That was totally unexpected! It was so good, I don't know how to explain it in my words. The emotions, the dance moves, everything was so good!

Wow, I really like the performance of Prowdmon and Su Bin, indeed the idea and performance of Prowdmon is very desirable, I mean the novelty, the style is unmistakable. Moreover, I was really surprised and shivered when Su Bin shouted so many times, his emotions were almost all released, and he danced quite well. All in all, their performance is great. It's cool. PROWDMON and Yu Subin's performance was really amazing and memorable for me. it somehow left something inside my heart and i think Yu Subin's acting was also amazing, he delivered the emotions perfectly. even though he barely danced but i think he can dance, its just his acting matched perfectly with the performance
feels so uncomfortable when he said “if he was just abt to scream then i woudlve done the same” bcs what subin did wasnt just screaming. prowdmon’s performance awes me so much and i was so moved by it. it was incredible. those condescending remarks with “its great but why would he scream tho” :// we all knw the tone of tht comment sounded... condescending. everyone was speechless right after it ended which fulfilled what monika wanted, she wanted to make the audiences moved by their performances and yes it happened, everyone was shut after it ended. they were speechless, out of words. subin’s acting blended well and right after he screamed, the dancers continued their actings + dancing, frustrations written on their faces. it was GOOSEBUMPS!!!!

lachica’s was incredible and sehyung totally in lovr with dancing. i teared when he said he felt alive. thts literally what dancers feel, it was an emotional speech. and them choosing born this way makes then performance 101% more emotional and meaningful.

yet another masterpiece from prowdmon that was ignored and placed last. sigh. honestly watching this kind of performance for free is an honor itself, im even questioning if i deserve to see this. but people in variety shows have a very shallow judgment that i think prowdmon shouldnt perform such high quality performances in these shows anymore. then i guess thats their pride, no matter how they are "criticized" they will still dance however they want and express their own art. this is why i love them so much
i just know monika and the other members have been holding back whenever their performances are mocked at and get misinterpreted. they are on national tv after all and monika couldnt just suddenly burst and explain the whole point of their performances. but honestly, those people dont even deserve to hear their explanation and message. it's just really frustrating

The moment when Subin started screaming, my tears suddenly flowed down my cheeks. I don't even know why, but it just moved my heart a little and I started feeling a lot of emotion watching that part. I thought I'd be laughing at that part but damn it just made me cry. So good!!!
Hands down to Prowdmon. I also dance because of what I feel not just because of certain movements and stuff. I wanted to be free, to feel at ease even if it's just for a few minutes. You gave us such a masterpiece. It really moved me. Thankyouuuu!!!

It's quite unfair to think that Subin did nothing on the latter half of Prowdmon's performance when he seriously acted his heart out the entire time.
Him standing still in the back doesn't mean his not doing anything... If you look at his face you'll see how empty and exhausted he looks. I believe the emotion he portrayed in that bit is the core of their performance.
Prowdmon didn't have the highest score, but ngl it's the only performance I would watch again and again.

I actually don't mind that Subin doesn't dance as much in the performance but I did wish his acting was more nuanced or has more details to it especially when he was standing in the center. It would've added more to the performance.
진짜 다들 너무너무 잘하셨는데 세형씨 퍼포먼스가 정말 독보적이었던것 같아요. 소감을 듣지 않았어도 라치카랑 무대 같이 하면서 세형씨가 얼마나 즐겼는지 너무 잘 느껴졌습니다. 진짜 저더러 신나고 벌떡 일어나서 춤추게 하고 싶어지는 그런 무대였습니다. 라치카 멤버분들 무대 너무 잘 만들으셨고 세형씨는 진짜 활약하셨네요 본업이 댄서 아니신데 너무 대단해요ㅜㅜ
If only someday su bin × prowdmon had a chance to show this performance again and they have more time to prepare, also su bin have more move. I bet it will be astonishing!

Prowdmon x Subin's performance might have had the lowest score but it's definitely the most memorable for me - especially Subin's screaming (which was the climax of the perf). T'was kinda sad that other people made fun of him for it (which is typical variety thing to do). Glad Prowdmon's there to back him up huhu I keep replaying after the end of their perf when the members kept congratulating Subin and ofc Queen Nika's response when they questioned Subin not dancing more.
I totally can relate to sehyoeng words. I love to dance tho I not that good. Everytime I went to zumba class, I can see at mirrors, I smile throughout class. I felt so alive at that moment and happy
